🔁 Churn Checklist: Alex Hormozi’s 14 Strategies 💪
People sign up… then they cancel. If you want growth, you need to keep members engaged. Here’s a 14-step checklist from Alex Hormozi to help you lower churn and keep people around. 1. Cancellation Video 🎥🚫 When someone clicks “cancel,” play a video explaining what they’ll miss. Sometimes a reminder of the value they’re leaving behind can make them reconsider. 2. Find the Activation Point 🎉🚀 The “activation point” is the first “aha!” moment. Identify what this is for your product and get members there fast—first wins make lasting members. 3. Onboarding Calls ☎️👋 Welcome new members with a call. This brief touchpoint makes them feel supported and less likely to cancel. 4. Time Unlock ⏳🔓 Release content gradually to keep members coming back. Drip-feeding prevents overwhelm and encourages long-term engagement. 5. Level Unlock 🎮📈 Create levels with new perks or tools at each step. The sense of progress keeps members motivated and invested. 6. From Guru to Community 👥💬 Members might join for you, the “guru,” but keep them for the community. A space for connection fosters loyalty. 7. Encourage Pausing, Not Canceling 💵💸 Offer a “pause” option instead of outright cancellation. Many people just need a break—not a full exit. 8. Smart Pricing Tactics 🤑💰 Offer discounts for longer commitments. A smart pricing structure can be the difference between staying and canceling. 9. Build a Positive Culture 🏆🔥 When members feel part of something bigger, they’re more likely to stay. Share success stories and celebrate wins. 10. Value-Pricing Balance ⚖️💵 Price to match value. Members who feel they’re getting a fair deal are more likely to stay. 11. Regular Community Calls 🗣️💻 Hold calls where members can ask questions, share wins, and get feedback. A connected community is a loyal one. 12. Target High-Retainers 🎯🙌 Analyze who stays longest and why. Target more of those types—quality over quantity pays off. 13. Reduce Overwhelm 😵📉 Don’t drown members in information. Simplify and provide value in stages to prevent churn.

33 Hours Until Bald as a 16-Year Old
For Context: I made a contract with my consistency coach - if I don’t finish my full recruiting system by Sunday 9AM, I have to shave my head and eyebrows completely. No excuses, no delays. Today was one of those days where everything in me wanted to slow down. I had: - A full 9-5 shift. - A birthday dinner at a steakhouse. - Only 6 hours of sleep from the night before. By the time I got home, it was already 9PM. Most people would have called it a day. But I sat down… and worked until 1AM. And I’m not going to liee I feel it. My head feels heavy and my eyes burn and i have to force-open them. Thoughts are slower. I’m tense, I’m stressed, I’m drained. But here’s the thing:I don’t have the luxury of “feeling tired.” In 32 hours, my deadline hits. If my recruiting system isn’t completely done, I lose it all, my hair and my eyebrows. I’ll walk into next week looking like a boiled egg, and the whole world will know I broke my word. That’s the difference pressure makes. You start working past the point where your body says “enough.” You don’t negotiate with your mood. You don’t wait for motivtion because YOU JUST EXECUTE It’s uncomfortable, but discomfort is exactly what forces the work to get done. This weekend isn’t aboutbalance. It is about finishing what I promised, no matter how heavy it feels. Because when you set stakes this high… failure simply isn’t an option.

Why I Might Look Like a Boiled Egg on Monday (⚠️THIS IS NOT A JOKE⚠️)
Alex had some pretty bad times in his life.. being in dept multiple thousands of dollars yet still not giving up.. The biggest pressure I’ve ever had in my life? A haircut… and not the good kind. If I don’t finish all my recruiting tasks before Sunday 9:00 AM, I have to: - Shave my head. - Shave my eyebrows. Gone. Yes, I signed a real contract with my consistency coach. Yes, I’ve completely lost my mind. No I’m not joking. Why? Because I caught myself slacking. Scrolling too much in the past few days. Letting small distractions creep in. And if I’m about to lead a team of employees this month, that can’t happen. The goal is simple: - Create SOPs so every task is crystal clear. - Write guidelines & contracts so we’re aligned from day 1. - Set up all the tools, emails, accounts, and onboarding. These are boring but critical. Without them, recruiting slows down and my August growth dies. So I’ve put my face in the game. Forget “skin in the game” - if I fail, I’ll start Monday looking like a boiled egg. And yes, my girlfriend already said she’s gonna be mad if I pull a buzz cut. This is the point: If you want results, stop making soft promises. Set nuclear consequences so failing isn’t even an option. The fear of walking around hairless > any motivational quote. By Sunday, I’ll either have a finished recruiting system… or no eyebrows. There is no third option. https://www.loom.com/share/191472fbdead43b28b1a2e6f8dd71894?sid=69c7e019-28a5-4603-a2fd-c39cac370534

Quitting Your 9–5 Is Just Math
Most dudes overcomplicate leaving their job. The truth: its literally just math. Let me break it down with coaching as the example The Problem of a 9–5 Coach If you’re stuck in a job, your main problem is time. Because the effect of basically no time is: - Low traffic (you can’t create much content) - Low sales (because you don’t have leads) - No delivery (because you can’t sell in the first place) So the cycle continues… The Cheat Code = Hire a VA Most 9–5ers forget the ONE advantage they already have: Money. Instead of spending $200 on nights out, new games, or BS distractions, pay a Virtual Assistant $200/month to send DMs for you. You still have yourr paycheck and you still have time. But now you also have leverage. The Math That Changes Everything Worst case: - VA does 100 DMs/day = 2,200 per month - Even with bad conversion rates, that’s ~1 sale/month - At high-ticket ($3–5k), that’s $3–5k per month … while you’re still at your job Realistic case: - 120 DMs/day = 3,600 per month - ~8 sales/month - That’s ~$24k per month from ONE VA 👉 Best case (with trust ecosystem): - 150 DMs/day = 4,500 per month - ~20 sales/month - That’s ~$60k per month And you’re not the one slaving away sending DMs. The Point: Quitting your 9-5 isn’t magic or luck. It’s literally math + leverage. If you’re serious about this game, stop wasting your paycheck on BS and start buying back your time. Question for you guys: Would you rather grind solo for months with “free” effort, or spend $200 to shortcut years of struggle? https://www.loom.com/share/905f57f7c69840a398757b118627d964?sid=02ddd9b8-2ac5-497e-b6f5-aa43bc08a984

2:40 AM. It’s Finally Done.
Hormozi would be proud. Sadly i couldn't participate on the event 🙁 I’ve been awake and working since 9 AM. Here’s what today looked like: - 9–1 PM: Grinding on contracts, and SOPS - 1 PM: Call with my mentor. - Afternoon + evening: straight back to work. - 9 PM–1 AM: deep focus block, only small distractions. - 1–2:15 AM: finished my Canva VSL presentation. - 2:30 AM: everything is done. The full recruiting system is ready: ✅ SOPs ✅ Contracts ✅ Guidelines ✅ Tools Physically? I’m cooked. - Neck stiff - Legs weak - Fingers stiff - Hungry as hell - Thirsty - Eyes barely open - I feel weak and not well in general I completely forgot to drnk and eat and didn't go to the gym. Mentally? I feel fulfilled. This wasn’t just about keeping my hair + eyebrows (though trust me, I did NOT want to end up bald 💀). It was about proving that when the pressure is real, I can lock in and execute. Here’s what I took away from today: 1. Discipline beats distraction. My phone slowed me down recently, so I punished myself with brutal consequences. It worked. 2. A strong WHY turns grind into flow. Even though I’m exhausted, it didn’t feel like pain. Hours flew by because I knew why I was doing this. 3. Pressure creates clarity. Without this deadline, I’d still be dragging tasks out. With it, I executed relentlessly. Today wasn’t just a grind day. It was a war against comfort. And I won. Now it’s 2:30 AM. I’m dead tired, hungry, and my body feels like trash… but I’m fulfilled and proud. Not an egg. Not diEGGo. Not yet. 🥚❌
