Making the switch:
Morning so switched from 10mg Tirz as, stalled after a year, still need to lose a stone. Started Reta 2.5mg two weeks ago about to have 3rd shot Friday. Not as potent as Tirz but I believe kicks in 4th or 5th week 🤔 don't want to go up too soon like I did on Tirz. Please tell me it kicks in 🙏🤞🙏 also has anyone run warm on it? Getting hot flushes every now and then possibly just my age 54 🤔🙈

For the hot flashes, I would get the hormone levels checked out, it could be that "fun" time we ladies have to deal with. I went through it and thank the Lord it has stopped, I'm 58 now, but my hormones were out of whack for so long.. made my life hell. Gary Brecka on the Ultimate Human podcast has some great tips on what can help. His interview with Cynthia Thurlow and his wife Sage Workinger-Brecka are awesome.

Reta question
I am reading that Reta doesn’t suppress appetite and food noise as well as Tirz. I am switching next week and I am really nervous that I am going to struggle! I don’t want to invest in anything else right now, although Capri is something I am looking into. Anyone not have an issue with Reta?

I switched from Tirz to Reta a month ago and I was just as nervous...I had reached a stall on Tirz and the scale was not moving, no matter what I did. I decided to try Reta and the first few days I didn't notice a huge increase in the food noise, but after a while, I started getting those night cravings, that always did me in before. I wanted to give the Reta time to work, so I kept on, added in the Cagri, and it seems to be working fine now. The food noise is gone again, so are the cravings, and the weight is dropping off. Give it a try, you can always switch back if its not a good fit for you.

Melancholy on reta
Hi Guys, I made the switch from Tirz 2 months ago, currently on 7.5 reta, not lost weight as quick as I did on Tirz but im not in a rush so that's ok. My question is has anyone experienced melancholy with reta? This last 4 weeks my mood has been "flat" like im not depressed but I'm also not experiencing happiness like i was before reta. Nothing else has changed in my life and people are committing on my change of personality. Is there a way around this effect?

Just curious, since Ozempic, Mounjaro, etc are patented, how are we still able to get like Semaglutide and Tirzepatide... won't that be the same for Reta?
