Dreamweft Sweater Help
Help. (Deamweft Sweater...just completed last row of back shoulder increases) What would you recommend to get the correct stitch counts at this point without ripping back.... that might not look way obvious.... or make it wonky. I calculated stitch counts of the increase rows to be able to tell if I'm still on track. Increasing 8 stitches each repeat for the 7 repeats in the back I should have 88 stitches. I actually have only 84. It appears there are the correct number of increased lace 'holes'. The edge stitches seem fine. I don't find anything unraveling. I am really challenged in keeping my attention here. (Its not the pattern...it's my toddler brain) And I have ripped back so many times I've lost count... but... I really want this finished object. I have a long way to go and I'm willing to take it slow...but if I have to rip back again 💔 😪 I'm afraid I will have to give up.

Well... I am easily distracted and had to frog many times. I finally made the little row count and only focused on the project when I worked on it. I was golden... all of my repeat counts were correct until that last repeat. I couldn't see where I went wrong. That's why I reached out. I'm pretty sure I miss yarn overs. It's just me. That's why I reached out. My recommendation to you... (and myself 🤭) ... is to accept this will be a slow project that requires dedicated attention. I'm counting on it being a little easier after the increases. And also when I get to working in the round. 🤞 Good luck!

It's finally finished! I couldnt be more proud!
My #rujuu... Zipped, fleece lined and hooded! This was a true labour of love which took patience, trust in myself to go off track and a lot of new techniques learned! My first ever steek Hand sewing.... a lot! Going off piste to do the hood whilst keeping in pattern Adjusting sizing to accommodate lining Using 7 different threads of various gauges and trying to get them to match Thank you so much @Zanete Hussain for the incredible pattern and the #myal 🥰🥰

A Change of plans for the MYAL Virtual Fashion Show
Hello my lovely MYAL knitters 🧶 I need to share a change of plan with you, and I want to be honest about why. It has been a difficult few days for me and I have been quite affected. Those of you who follow me on Instagram will very likely now what I am referring to. Right now, I am not in the right place to host a live celebration the way I planned. And I do not want that to take away from what this event was meant to be: a celebration of YOU and all the work you have done. For many of you, this was your first all-over colourwork sweater, your first steek, your first time trying something out of your comfort zone. And that deserves to be celebrated properly, not under a dark cloud. So here is what I would love you to do instead. Please reply to this thread with: ❤️ your favourite photo of your Rujuu Sweater, whether it is a WIP or FO. ✨ 3 words that describe your Rujuu knitting experience 🤔 One thing that surprised you (a challenge or a win) 💡 One thing you would do differently next time We will celebrate together here, on Skool, and I promise I will be cheering for each and every one of you. Thank you for your patience with me this week. I am so proud of what you have all made. 🤍

She's still a wip... ✨️engaging.... suspense... adoration... 🤔 I didn't think... with ALL my stash... It would be so difficult to choose yarn. 💡I would steek. Originally I wanted to do the cardigan.. partly because I was excited to try to steek. After my stops and starts I was seeing other's progress and liked the Pullover in this design. Someone posted they were making their version larger and intended to line it, so it would actually be a jacket. I can't unsee that. What a great idea!

@Viky Petermann I think you just did. 😉
Not finished yet?
As an encouragement to anyone else also not finished-I’m not done either! I almost finished one sleeve only to realize that bc I have shorter arms I need to be doing the decreases much closer together so I don’t end up with super baggy sleeves by the end. I’m still working myself up to tearing that sleeve out and starting it over. Once I get that figured it should go fast though I hope!! Hang in there everyone!

Just beginning Clue 3. 😁 This is my 2nd go. I had to frog my first attempt. It will be done when it's done. 😊 Thanks for the encouragement.
