Pretty brutal
Gareth just shared this in his community. Basically is someone searches you on Discovery and finds you, signs up, Skool gets a %30 cut. Of course this is if you have growth booth on.

For me the most important part of the video is not the growth boost, but the "end of the honeymoon"-phase. I got their earlier, and I am extremely grateful for it. So this one did not hit me as hard. It is just more prove that it is all about money, and for sure not about community. Yet what SKOOL gave us, and I am not willing to give this away any time soon is that YOU can make it about community, when this is what you want.

10k in affiliate commission on Skool
I'm calling this a small with because the revenue is not recurring. It's way harder than I thought to make recurring affiliate revenue with Skool. The biggest problem is people either cancelling right away or churning quicker than I'd like 😂 10k is a nice number, but if you take into account that it took 2 years to get here, it stops being that impressive 🤪 Sorry for double posting but I know some of you are not in Skoolers yet. --- Thinking of starting a Skool community? Private. All of them. I was thinking about having a public one instead of a newsletter yet decided to diversify more, so it might be substack instead.

This community used to be on the first page of Skool Discovery
After the algorithms changed it got pushed to the second page which kind of sucks. The downside: WAY less people join... But... The upside: WAYYY less spammers join... Looks like the real people actually take the time to search more and go deeper. (Clarification: it used to be in the top 5 for the search term "Skool")
