Swim Accelerator About Page Review
Since starting my Skool community about 9 months ago, I've struggled to break the 100 member mark with my community. My community is geared towards competitive swimmers, ranging from age groupers to masters swimmers, who are looking to become more efficient in the water and confident behind the blocks. I post at least once a day to my community and have gotten great feedback from the members inside about the content I provide. But my struggle is converting people. I get a decent amount of traffic to the About Page but very few conversions. I just recently revamped the text and the VSL again to be clearer to what is inside. I know a lot of the struggle is that people tend to still think the only way to improve in swimming is by having a coach standing next to you on the pool deck but that's not always the reality. Any additional advice would be great. Thank you in advance. https://www.skool.com/swim-accelerator/about

Hey Chris ๐Ÿ‘‹ thanks for the opportunity to take a look! I read through all the comments from others above BEFORE heading to your page, so that I could focus on a new perspective. What struck me is the mention of โ€œnot another swim programโ€ indicating to me that there are many. But the only reference to how yours is different is โ€œyouโ€™ve been told to train harderโ€. Sometimes people need it spelled out, in black and white, how what theyโ€™re doing or have been told isnโ€™t right and not what you do. You could play around with the commonly held beliefs of other programs and infer that your program is better simply by outlining a few more than โ€œtrain harderโ€. What you want is your audience to look at it and see themselves. The other thing I thought about, and it would need validation in your own community, is the competitive nature of sport. The reviews are seconds/milliseconds of difference which is obviously a big deal to these athletes. Would something like a time challenge/% improvement engage a) the community and b) potential audience hitting your about page for that dopamine hit of competition? Other than these things, and none of it is make or break at this point, I think the page looks good. ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป
