Stop Waiting For Your Book To Be Perfect
Waiting until it's perfect is just fear wearing a productive mask. I see people stuck in editing mode for months, tweaking, second-guessing, rewriting ... when they could've already published and started collecting real data. Here's the thing about KDP: you can update your manuscript anytime. Change the cover, rewrite the description, fix the content. Nothing is locked in forever. Your first book is a learning tool. Publish it, watch how it performs, and improve from there. You'll learn more from one live book than 100 hours of pre-launch tweaking. Done beats perfect. Every time. 👉 Have you published your first book yet? Drop a yes or no below.

Picture Yourself as A Best Seller
Visualization is a powerful tool, and with the help of AI it can really expedite our journey. STEAL THIS PROMPT 👇 A cinematic image of [ME FROM THE ATTACHED IMAGE] celebrating while holding a book titled [INSERT YOUR BOOK TITLE]. A “Best Seller” badge is visible on the book cover. Confetti in the air, joyful expression, warm lighting, high-end, ultra-realistic, inspirational tone. **NOTE if you already have a book you want to use just upload the cover and update the prompt. 🚀 Let's see how you look as a best seller! @Krista Brea What a great way to help me visualise my book in my hands.... and as a best seller too!
This Could Go Completely Off the Rails 😂
Let’s build a story together 👀 I’ll start with one sentence…and each person adds the NEXT sentence in the comments. Build on to the story by creating the next sentence. If you see someone typing, wait for their sentence and then type yours out, building on theirs Let’s see where this goes 😂 Here's the first sentence: 👉 The moment she touched the glowing book, she was transported to a magical place. Your turn 👇 (Only ONE sentence per comment—no overthinking it, just keep it going)

🎬 Turn Your Book Into a Movie Poster
Here’s a fun creative exercise for authors… What if your book wasn’t just a book…What if it were a movie? I took my book, ’ 90s Nostalgia, and asked AI to turn it into a Hollywood-style movie poster, and honestly, it’s pretty cool to see your book concept come to life in a totally different way. This is also a great way to think about: - the core theme of your book - the visual vibe - the story you’re telling readers If you want to try it, use this prompt: Prompt: Create a cinematic movie poster for a film based on my book titled “[Insert Book Title]”. Include dramatic lighting, bold movie typography, and visual elements representing the theme of the book. Make it look like a Hollywood blockbuster poster. (ALSO UPLOAD YOUR BOOK COVER IF YOU HAVE ONE) Now it’s your turn 👇 Drop your AI movie poster in the comments. I’d love to see what your book looks like on the big screen 🎥📚

Question about proof reading
I’m getting closer to finishing my manuscript and starting to think about the editing stage. I’d love to hear from those who have already gone through this process. A few things I’m wondering about: • Did you use a professional proof-reader, developmental or copy editor? • Did you use beta readers before hiring an editor? • Did you use friends/family first, or go straight to a professional? • At what stage of the writing process did you bring them in? If you’ve already published, I’d love to know what you did and whether you’d do it the same way again. Thank you team !!
