DAY 7- Pay yourself first—even if it’s a small amount.
A lot of business owners work really hard… and then pay themselves last. Or not at all. And over time, that creates resentment, stress, and this feeling like the business is running you. So here’s a simple shift: Start paying yourself intentionally.Even if it’s small right now. Because paying yourself isn’t just about the amount. It’s about building the habit of treating yourself like the owner of the business—not the leftover.

DAY 6 - Give every dollar a job before you spend it.
Do you tell your money where to go—or wonder where it went? Most people wait until the money is already gone to think about where it should’ve gone. Instead, try this: Before you spend anything…decide what each dollar is for. When money comes in, give it a job. Maybe part goes to: business expenses paying yourself taxes savings But decide intentionally first. Because when your money has direction, you stop feeling so out of control with it.

i'm terrible about this!
Do you currently pay yourself consistently—yes or no?
Consistetly, every week, every month? Not at all? Why do you think you aren't getting paid from your business?

Same thing. Not earning enough. I earned enough to pay myself once
Day 5- Separate your business money from your personal money!
One of the biggest shifts you can make in your business finances is separating your money. Because when everything is mixed: you can’t clearly see profit you don’t know what’s actually available and every decision feels emotional So if you haven’t done this yet, start simple: Open a separate business account. Even if your business is still growing. Even if you’re not making huge money yet. Because when your money has structure, your business starts to feel more stable too.

Yay! We found it! Definitely agree with getting a bank account for the biz!
Happy Cinco de Mayo!
This is always a big day for tacos!! What's your favorite Mexican meal? My husband is Mexican, so we definitely eat a lot of Mexican food, especially being here in Phoenix, AZ! So he loves tacos de cabeza (points if you know what that is!). I love a chicken taco or a burrito from Chipotle, but we will probably a little more authentic tonight! Share your favorite!!
