How Often Should We Revisit Each Concept?
I’m a girls basketball coach at a really small rural school in Arkansas, and I’m trying to become more efficient with our practice time. Adding volleyball has taken away some of our basketball practice time, so I need to be intentional about what we spend time on. I have a preseason checklist of concepts I want to teach and revisit each week, but I’m trying to figure out the right frequency for each one. For example, I’m thinking defensive footwork 3x/week as a warmup and half-court defensive principles 2x/week. How often would you recommend revisiting things like defensive footwork, team defense, shooting, spacing, transition, ball handling, passing, and special situations? What should be daily, 2-3x/week, weekly, etc.? I can share my week by week checklist if that would help guide the advice.

@Mark Cascio I assume the best way to hit these in a limited 45 minute practice would be to use small sided games as the bulk to hit offense and defensive concepts at the same time? Thank you for your free resources on youtube and the hours, I might have to invest and get some more information from you guys.
Breaking a press
We have a hard time breaking a press. Any advice? Do you run a press break? What is SAVI's philosophy on it?

Some teaching cues that have helped my teams are: "As you catch, assess the space" - this helps them identify if they need to attack or pass. "Steal the pass on offense" - this helped it click with my team that on defense they are going toward passes to steal them so we need to go toward passes to catch them.
