5-Day Challenge
Going through the 5-Day Challenge is rewatching me a lot about myself and some financial sacrifices I may need to make. For networth, I’m okay and not surprised. I have a decent job and almost am done paying off my car (2016 Hyundai Sonata with ~ 86,000 miles), so I can count it. I could save money if I sell my car for a cheaper, older one to bring down insurance. I perhaps risk getting a car with more problems though. I think I’ll keep it for now. I should budget more spending on food and subscription services. I really like the examples and simple breakdown explained in the videos.

@Kailoni Montgomery I just shopped around for insurance because I recently moved and found that “Farmers” had the best prices on the same coverage across 6 companies I called, from what I heard/read they’re a middle of the road company. If you’re looking to save on auto insurance.
Pay myself first
After putting my bank statements into chat gpt, from April-June I spent $995.03 on eating out, snacks, and alcohol/tobacco. I created a budget to cut this spending and use the savings towards my Roth IRA.

@Denise Kenney thank you
Let's settle this...
What's the ONE piece of financial advice you wish someone had forced you to learn when you were 20? I'll go first: 👉 Mine would be: "Income solves today's problems. Assets solve tomorrow's." I spent way too long focusing on making more money instead of keeping it and putting it to work. Now I'm curious... If you could go back and have a 10-minute conversation with your younger self, what financial lesson would you hammer home? Drop it below. 👇 Someone in this community is probably making that exact mistake right now, and your comment could save them years of frustration.

Don’t finance vehicles if you don’t own real estate.
