I have been told that i need an ein number to file for my BOIR and my EIN takes about 8weeks to process and also sometimes it may fail. i called to check up on my EIN and the IRS told me that they cant track it without my SSN/ITIN (which i dont have). How do i make sure that the irs actually have my application.. My BOIR is due on sept 8th, what should i do if i dont get my EIN before then.
