Hi there, I’m joining from Saskatchewan, Canada and am a mom of a 3 year old Boy. I am currently on a mental health leave from work and am navigating my own healing journey and building the tools to regulate my own nervous system. During childhood I was unable to receive help for my mental health and so it is very important to me to be able to create the groundwork for my child to navigate his own emotions and have the tools in place to do so - and all of this begins with me learning how to assist him. As I have a toddler, tantrums come with the territory and they can escalate very quickly. Our current practice is to validate, calm and go through our breathing exercises. I can’t wait to continue working with community and learning from everyone!
