Hello everyone — and welcome. I’m Derek, and it’s a privilege to have you here. This community exists for one reason: To help pilots become the best version of themselves — technically, mentally, and professionally. After 38 years flying and training across Boeing, Airbus helicopters and classic aircraft, and serving as an examiner for multiple authorities, I’ve learned that what separates good pilots from exceptional ones isn’t intelligence or hours. It’s behaviour, mindset, habits, and how we show up when the pressure is on. Those skills are rarely taught formally — yet they define everything.
