Hey there, Loving skool. Just have a quick question. I'm about to get my course made up and am wondering what the process is in terms of having people buy the course on a landing page then being accepted by the email add in. Basically just asking if there is a landing page feature or do we need to make a seperate website using or something for acquiring customers then this is the final destination? Thank you.

yes, you need a landing page where you make the sale. Then you can automate the onboarding process via webhook/zapier…
Loving the idea of SKOOL. Do you pay for every classroom? Or can you have multiple classrooms from one subscription?

@Richard McCabe Just to be sure. One classroom can host several courses…

@Richard McCabe gotcha. So you would indeed need more than one group. :(
Hey everyone, is it possible to translate the language to French? Or not just yet? Thank you :)

Great. I really like the idea of a distraction free "School". At the Moment i established a Facebook Community for my group. I teach a SIMPLIFY System for therapists. Scool is SIMPLIFY at it's best...Can't wait to get approved. Thanks for what you are doing, Sam, it has a big impact on me!

@Sam Ovens woohoo! Thanks Sam!
In this video i connected Thrivecart as my payment processor via Zapier and a webhook to my Skool group to automate member invitation after product purchase...I hope this is helpful...Dennis

@Nathan Field shopify integrates with zapier so it should be possible with a very similar workflow…

Hi all, I'm investigating Skool as a solution for my business but seems the online Skool101 knowledge base is still very limited. Can anyone inform me if it's possible to host live videos for a course from within the Skool system and then also retain them as part of the course to be viewed later? TIA

No, live streaming in Skool is not possible. But you can integrate the link (Zoom etc.) in the calendar to make it convenient for your members…

@Tristram Samoa im the last office hours the Skool team mentioned, that they would only consider a live streaming option when they could build something that is better than zoom.
Now you can add a shared calendar to your Skool so your members can see what's happening, when, in their local timezone. Members can add events to their personal calendars with a click. If your community does live Q&A calls or live events, this feature is perfect for you! Watch the video to see how it works. Enjoy!

I made this fun little video today. It explains what Skool is in 2 minutes. Check it out!

Cool. Made me laugh. 😅 On the point!
Does Skool have a payment processor? Does it integrate with Samcart and Thrivecart?

You can auomate that via webhook. See: https://www.skool.com/community/demo-video-thrivecart-webhook-skool-automation?p=435d273c
Will you eventually add video hosting of the courses in the future? That's the one thing holding me back from joining right now. Because I would have to take another step by uploading to Vimeo first and then adding the link here. BTW....I think Skool is genius and I really want to sign up very soon. I love the simplicity of it 😀

Stay tuned…;)
Hi everyone. I'm new to Skool. Is there any way to have an image in the post, like on a Facebook post? I'd also like our posted videos to have a full-sized preview rather than a thumbnail. Is this possible? People are very visual, and our team uses many images, videos, and gifs in our Facebook groups.

Yes you can add this. When you write a post use the first icon to open the menu for that…
I like the default rules we're provided with, but what are some cool/fun ideas for rules in your group/community or that you've seen? I only have 2 rules but I feel they're kinda lame.

Hey guys, is it planned to release a german translation of skool? Its just a few words. Maybe, we can translate it by our self? Would be really great and helpful for our clients.

@Sid Sahasrabuddhe Please please please!;)
Hi, I'm seriously considering switching to Skool for my community platform. Here are some important questions: 1. We're not finding any integration either direct or through WP Fusion or Zapier to integrate across platforms to provide automatic enrollment: For example if someone buys a product from Infusionsoft/Keap, or 10000 people buy a product, we want them to be automatically enrolled into their Skool group. Is this possible? 2. Exporting the data: If at any point we want to download all member data such as name, email, course, etc. into a CSV, is that possible? 3. Is there anyway for members to post events that will show up as events on the calendar rather than posts?

1. yes, this is possible via webhook and Zapier (See an example here: https://www.skool.com/community/demo-video-thrivecart-webhook-skool-automation?p=435d273c ) 2. This is not possible 3. No, this function is admin only
where are course videos hosted?

Wistia, Loom, Vimeo or YouTube at the moment.
Is there a possibility to give access for a course only to selected members?

Hi Joachim, not at the moment.
Hi Team, at the moment there is only a blank screen on iPhone. Everything is fine on iPad and desktop. Could you have a look at that? Dennis

Enjoy! And thank you for a great system!
I'm trying to sort out the pros and cons to uploading classroom videos using YouTube unlisted versus Vimeo. I could care less about price - looking for some input on which platform to host the videos on. Thoughts? Experiences?

On Vimeo you can define exactly what should happen after someone watched a video…on youtube your prospect might be lost on other channels…In addition to that you can protect your videos better on vimeo (although there will never be perfect protection)…Dennis

Hey guys, I'm French, and there are no good tools to use from my country, that is why I always use american ones. But the problem is that my clients doesn't always speak english or understand it. Is it possible to translate the settings by myself if I get skool, so that I can have a full french plateforme, or not yet ? :)

@Florentin Ionita An App is on the roadmap for 2022. You could advise your members to create an icon of skool on the homescreen of their device, so that it feels more like an app when they access their skool group.
if someone has multiple courses, is it possible to have more than one group?

You can have multiple groups. Each group is 99USD/mo. In a single skool group you can have multiple courses and one community. Everybody in the group will have access to everything.
Hey Sam, can we use your new SaaS Software "Skool" with german language? Best regards Tobi

@Bandick Juers hab ich auch schon angeboten. Wobei es eigentlich traurig ist, dass ne einfache englische Oberfläche wie Skool sie hat, eine Hürde für manch Deutsche darstellt…🙈

@Giselle Gibbs no, the ui is english only at the moment.
Is there good payment integration? For example, we use stripe and paypal with kajabi right now? Will skool automatically kick out members who don't renew? Can I see a history of failed and successful payments and other revenue and subscriber analytics and metrics on skool?

@Ashley Kemp not at the moment. But the skool team is working on a webhook which could enable that.

@Ashley Kemp no ETA afaik. Yes, it‘ll be the way you said.
Good morning - does Skool provide support for SSO? If so, do we know what type of integrations it supports? Thanks you!

What about the ability to host your own group with a unique domain like you would with your business website?

I’m an online fitness coach and I have a group of clients I am looking to bring over from my Facebook group. just wondering if this will be an effective tool in the long run. I have already been through the free skool mini course so it looks awesome. I think it will be, but it will be good to hear some user experiences too! Thanks fam!

I am not a fitness coach but a physiotherapist. Will definitely use another Skool group for my premium health group…the only thing that is holding me back is the lack of the possibility to change the ui language to german…i pray for that! :)
In the process of making my course in the classroom and it would be nice if I had the ability to rearrange the order after they are already made.

You can rearrange sets and modules. Any part can be moved up or down. It‘s not drag and drop. You find it in the menu.

What happens when you follow someone? Do you get notification when they post? Do you get emails? How does it work?

You can modify notifications (if and how often you want to be notified via email) for people you follow in your group under "settings-notifications"...
