I’m in the Doctors office —but yet here I am
I worked 64 hours this week at work as of 11:30 today -missed the 1st half of the corporate call -helping my daughter of the ledge(if you got daughters you know what that means- I’m now at the doctors office and will be a 1hr or so late to my daughters 5th annual bookclub vision board party—YET I’m finding time to share and write my OWN take aways from today’s CORPORATE CALL. Sometimes us working folk claim “busy” I’m claiming productivity—what are you claiming— I’m not impressed with anyyyyyyybodies BIZZYMESS!! (Yep I said it) 1. Busy is movement. Productive is focus driven direction. You can move all day and still go nowhere. Direction is what gets you paid. 2. If it’s not tied to income or impact… question it.Not everything deserves your time. Be selective, not scattered. 3. Productivity requires a plan.Winging it = staying stuck.Even a simple 3-task plan beats a chaotic day. 4. Focus is a money skill.Every distraction is a withdrawal from your future and your pocket. 5. You don’t need more time… you need more intention.Same 24 hours. Different results. 6. Busy feels productive… but it’s often avoidance in disguise.Let that one sit for a second 👀what I call a mask. 7.STOP ASKING THE SAME FRIENDS AND FAMILY 8. GET A ACCOUNTABILITY TEAM NOT PARTNER 9. Replace “I’m busy” with “What did I complete?”Language check = reality check. 10. The goal isn’t to do more… it’s to do what matters. That’s how you build something that actually grows.
