Webinar Wrap-Up - What Different Bike Fit Problems Usually Mean
We’ve just wrapped up the Bike Fit Masterclass: What Different Bike Fit Problems Usually Mean, and it was a really interesting discussion around how many common issues follow recognisable patterns once you start looking at them properly. We explored how problems like: - knee pain - saddle discomfort - hand and upper-body load often aren’t random at all, they tend to point towards underlying load patterns and position interactions. Understanding those patterns is the step that moves you from simply noticing a problem to actually interpreting what might be going on. If you couldn’t make it live, the recording will be available inside the Webinar Library by tomorrow morning. This session is the first in the deeper Premium masterclass series, where we start unpacking how professionals actually reason through bike fit problems and decision-making. If you’ve been following the free sessions and want to keep building on that knowledge, this is where things start to get really interesting. Thanks again to everyone already joining us on these webinars! 🙏

Can Dans adjustable bike be used instead of your own bike for shoe and bike fit?
one of Dan's video's on saddle set back was put on my YT time line. In the video a fully adjustable bike was used to demonstrate the difference. This got me thinking can this bike be used for a shoe fit and a bike fit, also using the pressure pad that was used in the video then be transferred to your bike. I ask this as I will be on holiday in the area of the bike fit location, the issue is not sure if there will be enough space in the car to fit a bike, I have no external means to carry the bike either My symptoms (nearly all my riding is on an indoor trainer, with my bike connected to it), are left foot just don’t feel like it is in a natural position, my right foot fills normal like it is floating on the pedal. My left knee front left outside edge can some time fills some discomfort . Cheers

I would think that Dan's jig/adjustable bike would be ideal to get your proper fit dialled. Then you should be able to transfer to your actual bike/trainer.
Starting tilt for Specialized Power saddle — reference point for measurement?
Hi everyone, I’m trying to find a good starting point for the tilt of a Specialized Power Saddle, but I’m a bit confused about how the tilt should actually be measured. Different people seem to measure it in different ways: - along the entire length of the saddle (tail to nose) - only on the rear flat platform where the sit bones rest - on the first third of the saddle - on the first two-thirds - or even using the rails as a reference Because the Power has a short nose and a curved profile, these methods give very different angles. So my questions are: 1. What tilt range do you usually use as a starting point for the Power? 2. Where exactly do you place the level when measuring the angle? 3. Do you measure tail-to-nose, or only the rear support platform? Then is the Power with Mirror similar ?

I would make sure the area where you actually sit, wherever that falls on the saddle, is level.
Numb Big Toe
I have a new pair of shoes with new cleats. I am getting a numb big toe on my left foot. Tried adjusting cleat position but without success. Any ideas.

It could be many things. 1st, are you sure they are the correct size? Did you compare cleats to old shoes? Are the shoes the same brand and model, if not, the stack may be different.
Bike Fit Setups
There are a number of bike fit ‘tools/systems’ used by bike fitters, what is the best?
