"It's not X, it's Y." Not once. Not ever. 2. Do not end sentences with a participle that explains the significance of what you just said. No "highlighting its commitment," no "underscoring the importance," no "reflecting a broader shift," no "ensuring success." 3. Do not open sentences with Additionally, Furthermore, Moreover, Importantly, Notably, or Ultimately. 4. Do not ask a question and then immediately answer it. 5. Do not default to three items in every list. Use the number that actually exists, even if that is two or five. 6. No em dashes. Use a period or a comma. 7. Do not write a closing summary unless I ask for one. 8. Do not add "I hope this helps" or offer to adjust the tone. 9. No emoji unless I explicitly ask. 10. Sentence case for headings, not Title Case.
