NEW Claude feature Dispatch BETA
Claude Dispatch is a beta feature within Claude Cowork (available for Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans). It allows you to assign tasks from your mobile device. Claude then executes these tasks directly on your desktop—such as browsing the web, managing files, and opening applications—and notifies you when the work is done. How Claude Dispatch Works Instead of having a back-and-forth chat, Dispatch acts as a persistent thread connecting your mobile device to your computer. The Workflow: You give Claude a task on your phone (e.g., pulling files, checking an email, or running a tool), Claude performs the work on your desktop, and it delivers the completed result back to your phone. Computer Use: Claude can autonomously open applications, fill out spreadsheets, and navigate browsers via "Computer Use" or "Claude in Chrome" while you are away.

Are there any security risks with using open source models?
Given the high token price - I am thinking about using open source models such as GLM-5.2 or using the Z.ai harness. I wonder if there is any real security risk of using them or those risks are imagined.

I know this from reliable sources... No major corporation uses LLM open source models. They are strictly forbidden to use even ChatGPT at work. They have their own models that only they can access..
🤷Are you real ? Today's job offers
More and more I meet similar offers Linkedin/Freelancer sites. With some irrational expectations and demands. They haven't indicated yet that you also deliver food to them. Who works in the HR sector today?

@Holly T That's why I'm worried about who works for them in the HR team. If they use templates and copy-paste models

@Mario Symba It has always been strange to me 10 types of occupations, supposedly combining it into one. Well, you can't ask for an Ai video editor and an Ai engineer, and a sales representative in one (example ad). They are not the same things 🥴

You must first see if apple supports such a feature. Even some end 2 end encryptions are not according to TOS. So first see if something is in conflict with their rules.
What to buy?!
Hi all, I’m about to buy a new desktop or laptop for my AI work. Right now, I’m using one laptop for everything, but I notice it’s starting to struggle. I’m not quite sure how much I should invest. I don’t want to go overboard just yet, but I do want the option to handle heavier work that requires more computing power. Could you advise me on what would be the best choice? I work with Claude Code and Codex. I build CRM systems, workflows, and also work with image and video generation. So a good graphics card is important.

For working with LLM the most important thing is not the manufacturer but that the device has a good GPU and CPU. As well as RAM that can be upgraded tomorrow. You are now buying a device that should serve you for at least 3 years. What will happen in a year and which LLM will be able to support which hardware is the question. The question is whether Claude, Codex or any LLM will exist in this form. So summary: No way MacBook because it is expensive and its upgrade is limited. Yes PC ! because you can upgrade RAM - GPU - CPU. MacBook , Iphone and similar things are a tax for f**ls

@Rory Long It is already a working machine. Later increase max RAM..now it is expensive but later. What talk about MacBook or M4 is a waste of money. I once bought a MacBook, I paid over $2000 and it was a waste of money. In the PC case: Sell the GPU, pay less money and upgrade, sell the CPU and upgrade, RAM if you have slots push it up to 128GB. It literally does the job
