Bought a cell phone!! 😫
Hello everyone! I bought my soon to be 12 year old a phone. I was trying to hold out as much as I could but, there were so many scenarios that made me say to myself, I wish she had a phone. What are some rules that you have for your child when it comes to the cell phone?

Levi has a phone curfew, and he has to turn it in to me every night. Also, he is not allowed to be in any group text chats or conversations.

I have to set that up...I thought I did that before but I ended up locking both of us out of his App store! lol

Great News 🔥
It all started with me buying Ja a car from a private seller who posted his car in the community group. A couple weeks later he inboxed me asking how much I would charge to teach him English. He is Brazilian. During one of our lessons, he told me he was a software engineer. 💥 And just like that, we became business partners… He is creating my social and emotional gamified app. I sketched out this super dope idea for schools last year but didn’t know where to even begin looking for a trusted app developer, so I just kept perfecting the idea. Message🗣️🗣️God is our endless supplier. Our job is to focus on the what it is that we desire and he will focus on the how🙌🏾 He always brings you who and what you need. My client/bp just showed me the prototype, and I’m super excited about it. He needs a couple more months to finish it, but Im about to start pitching to schools now. To all of my teacher friends 🗣️ you and your students are gonna love this🔥🔥💫 If you are an educator, school social worker, or school admin, let me know in the comments so I can add you to the waitlist to beta test the app!

Day 18 of 75
The challenge continues. I’m learning so much about myself with this challenge. One, I need to get better with daily documentation. My plan was to document here each day which clearly I dropped the ball but I have been documenting my progress daily with a progress picture 🙌🏾 can’t wait to pop out and share. My biggest insight is that I do really well with a routine. Once I’m in the groove, I can do hard things. And so can you. What routine do you need to put in place to reach your goals? What routine do you need to help your children create so they can reach their goals?

Yes! We can do Hard Things! This is a Mantra that I've said to myself often over the years as a reminder.
New Healthy Hitta! Intro!
Heyyy Healthy Hittas!! This Intro post is long overdue. *My Bad* Lol. I'm Deirdre, my fam and close friends call me Dee-Dee. I am a Mom of 4, Ages 21-5. Yeah, I know, Crazy, right! Lol. I am here mostly for my son Levi who is a Tween. He is 11 years old and in 6th Grade. Here's some context: He is almost 5'6 and wears a size 12 in men sneakers! I know, I know! WTH! Lol. Nasia has been such a strategic partner over the years when it comes to navigating these educational streets! Lol. Currently, we attend the weekly Book Club meetings and they have been invaluable. I am working on character building and building Levi's stamina when it comes to personal development and reading. I look forward to connecting with you all!
