Ready to Run, Vol. 2, Agility Skills & Drills for Small Spaces by ME!
This week I'm going to be coming at you with some things! I have not one but two new "books" available! I put books in quotes because neither is a traditional training book or novel. The first one is a book of agility drills, so it's made of lots and lots of course maps for backyard agility training. If this is your cup of tea, or if you have a friend or instructor who would appreciate some ready-made nested drills and small space courses, please check out https://www.cleanrun.com/product/ready_to_run_vol_2_agility_skills_drills_for_small_spaces/index.cfm It also comes in an e-book version if you'd like to save on shipping. That version is here: https://www.cleanrun.com/product/ready_to_run_vol_2_agility_skills_drills_for_small_spaces_e_book/index.cfm Please enjoy my promotional material below. HA! If you have any questions, please ask me here or privately. Tomorrow I'll get my second book in the mail and I'll show you what that's all about. It's something COMPLETELY different (not training-related but dog-agility related) and it is my first book available on Amazon! I don't want to share about it until I see a copy since I want to make sure it looks good :) Thanks for being a part of this group!

@Brenna Fender That was fun! Now to see if I have nine things…
Welcome!
I'm excited to offer an opportunity to share my passion of supporting dog sport competitors, trainers, and enthusiasts in working with their dogs at home or in other small space environments. I envision this community to be a positive and supportive space for people in which people can learn, chat, and have fun! I hope to present opportunities and information for training dog agility, disc, rally, parkour, nose work, and more, and offer the chance to make real improvements in your training and competition performance while working with your dog at home. I'd also like to support and explore offering more video competitions like one I hosted this summer, which was a lot of fun. Please introduce yourself and share pictures of your dog(s). I would love to know what sports you participate in, where you live, and anything else you want to share! If you want to read my bio and learn more about who I am in terms of dog training, please visit my instructor page in the Clean Run Learning Center. You can also visit my website, www.brennafender.com, and check out my first book, Ready to Run, Vol. 1, Agility Skills and Drills for Small Spaces. I've got some big, fun things ahead and I'm hoping to share them with a community of dog sport enthusiasts who want to be kind to each other and talk dog sports! (Please read the rules before posting!) More to come! --Brenna PS-Want to start your own Skool community? You can use my link (please and thank you)!

This is my current clan. Left to right - Kanza, Kelly, Willow. Kanza is my current agility girl. She is seven and her mama just started to get excited about training. I have had a strained relationship with agility for several years and she has not received the training she deserves. A friend of mine and I just decided it was time to focus and make agility fun again. Kanza just got out of open standard and is in master jumpers. Through no fault of her own she has not known what I wanted from her. When I took just a little time to try and take away the grey, she was able to get her last two open legs after being in open for five years. This group is going to be a blessing and I’m so glad it’s away from Facebook (I have tried to get away from there and having a place for just an agility group will be fun) Kelly and Willow are my girls now, but Chris Danielly will always be there true mama. They came to me after she passed away. Willow knows a little agility and I will play with her in Speedstakes, but I have no expectations from her. She is an amazing athletic girl and I will keep having fun with whatever we do. Kelly was brought into Chris’ family to be Willow’s companion. She does not have the mindset to step in a trial, but we will play a little in the back yard. She has no training. Thank you for this group Brenna.

@Brenna Fender thank you for that. It means so much. I’m so happy to be here. This is going to be a lot of fun. Kanza is even more glad that maybe her mama will play with her more. It’s very comforting to know you understand where I am. ❤️
Variable Reinforcement: Coke Machine vs. Slot Machine
I made this for a student in my current Backyard Training Matters course. He had a question, so I answered it via video, and I thought some of you might like it too! If you wonder why I looked down several times, it was to avoid my Border Collie's ball. :)

Great info. Thank you. I’m not good at this. I reward way to often and I’m sure I don’t vary like I should.
