Here is the weekly call from Sat, June 13, 2026. We are ending our week of JOY study (continuing our JOY) and starting our week of LOVE study. There are some great take-aways this call. Thank you so much to everyone for the great input, communications, feedback and even some emails, texts, calls and notes. This was a great and JOYFUL week, so much more to come. ♥️🎉🙏

A cheerful heart and a good attitude are good medicine. This Brick is filled with examples of both how having a good attitude even in difficult situations and making everyday moments fun. Dad was an expert at bring the room up with humor and silly, funny things. We have a choice in how we react and Jesus gives us example after example of choosing to have a good attitude and how to be forgiving and loving. Caregiving for my Mom was a challenge at times and after reading this amazing book, "Creating Moments of Joy" I saw that I could either get upset, angry or frustrated in certain situations or I could find the joy, humor, laughter and jokes in it all. Everything changed when my attitude changed. I see this happening in parenting, at jobs, and especially in caregiving and our own attitude makes all the difference for ourselves and for those we interact with each day. Dad is going to model a good attitude in many situations in this book. I believe having a "blessed" attitude is what gave and kept his JOY. We can choose, upset, or we can choose to have humor about it all. I know the Delta agent was thrilled that we chose to find the humor in that situation, Haha, that suitcase was so heavy, Haha, but we saw the humor in it all, thanks to Dad setting the pace. Challenges are all around us, cars going to slow, people cutting in line, someone not being too nice and the challenge today is to just choose JOY. You will see how it lifts you up and keeps your joy, it also sets the tone for others around you. Share with us anything positive or humorous you did this week.
