Download your designs from Canva with 300 DPI
Just wanted to share how I download my designs from Canva with 300 DPI. When downloading my image, I save it as PNG with a maximum Size of 3.125. After that I always open the PNG file in Paint (on PC) and go File - Image Properties to check the resolution. If the PNG file is too big (more than 20 MB for Etsy), I resize it in Paint (Resize and Skew button) by reducing the Pixels untill my file is 20 MB or less. This does not change the DPI. So all my designs are 300 DPI or more, because that's what I promise my customers. Same trick can be used if you are using Kittl and the AI upscaled image is too big. You can reduce your design's size in Paint without loosing the 300 DPI resolution before uploading to Etsy. Happy designing!

@Janet Bullard it is one of the best apps ever created! I started using Windows in 1990, and I have always preferred paint for simple editing tasks like the chip shared by @Anastasiia B.

Last time I saw that look was when my blind date asked what I did for a living and I try to explain in layman terms! This is the best meme ever!

@Lynda Hatches you would think they would understand we're not trying to sell the Brooklyn Bridge! "Yes, dear, it is real... no you can't touch it, it is digital." People have been buying PDF files for years, what's so different about PNGs?
Rabbit Hole Paralysis
How long do you all spend on market/trend research before you crawl out of the rabbit hole and just make something? I keep looking and trying to understand what I'm seeing on eRank and comparing it to Google Trends, Pinterest searches, Etsy's search auto-fill, etc.. I feel like I'm just sitting here cross-referencing things hoping to come up with something phenomenal and really just not getting anywhere, lol. Also, when I'm looking on Pinterest, the Etsy listings I end up clicking on don't actually have many sales or traffic. I'm not clicking on anything sponsored, so maybe I'm just not understanding how this all works lol. I think part of it is that trying to pair trends with originality can be difficult. The ideas I *do* have are just not being searched for. But I swear if I see another pink bow... ๐Ÿคฃ

I am in the same boat. Two of the motivational quotes I daily (one is on a totebag and the other is on a calendar notification) are: JUST DO SOMETHING! and STOP DREAMING, START DOING At least if it's POD (Print On Demand), we haven't wasted time or money on inventory... Good luck to everyone else, I'll keep digging in that rabbit hole!
