Sample meal days
Good afternoon! For anyone who has been able to dive into the macro-based portion of the program, I have created and uploaded 3 "sample days" of meal ideas with a minimum of 130g+ grams of protein and 25+ grams of fiber for balanced blood sugar ideas.

Things are well! I keep missing a Clearvite serving and I have to push like crazy to get my last 3-400 calories but I am getting there! Feeling pretty good!
Table For One!
My husband works out if town and is gone for 8 days at a time and my children (20 years old) are working a ton these days. It's often just me for meals and that often means leftovers, a protein shake, or... nothing all while standing up in the kitchen paying no attention to anything. Lately, and after I realized I was eating HALF the food I needed (thanks to Cait's calculations) I have been trying to eat MORE. I've felt so, so much better since I literally doubled my calories. :( And, managed to lose a couple pounds. 🤏 Instead of leftovers tonight I made a whole chicken, made a big salad of red leaf lettuce I found at the farmers market and dressed it with olive oil, lemon, acv, chia seeds, cilantro and maldon salt... then caramelized some onions, cut up an avocado and decided on a chunk of sliced mango for *dessert*. It was a very simple meal that took me about 20 minutes of prep but it felt so extravagant. I set the table, poured myself some sparkling water in a wine glass, added a basil leaf and sat to enjoy my meal. I practiced some diaphragmatic breathing first and then dug in. I was mindful of my chewing as I realize I gobble down meals. What started out feeling a bit over the top for *just me* ended up feeling very nurturing.... from me, to me. I think as women we often find ourselves nurturing others and leaving little time for ourselves. I didn't realize I needed a little bit of that love... for me. 🥰 Big win! Now off to use the chicken to make bone broth! ❤️

Week 1 - Feeling Better
I am so excited to be on the end of my first week and have such a positive feeling about this journey. I too have worked with Karissa in the past and had mucho success with weight loss (35+ lbs the first time around) and lifting of brain fog. Additionally, I have been seizure free for the entire time. We realized inflammation and over all sensitivity to "all things in life" triggered them. In this past round (January to now) my fatigue wasn't lifting and my weight stalled, so I signed up for this program to continue my healing journey. I used Cait's "calculations" to uncover the fact that I've probably been starving myself. I upped my caloric intake by HUNDREDS of calories, upped protein per Karissa's suggestion and the cortisol reset really seems to have kicked a bit of the fatigue to the curb. I feel so much better with all this extra food. I did wear a CGM monitor for a while and learned that I am super sensitive to carbs, of any form. So, I am trying hard to eat responsible ones and allow my body to continue to heal and adjust! I am SO excited for Week 2!
Electrolytes
Okay...I ordered the LMNT electrolytes and I don't think I've ever had anything so salty--and I love salt. I put it in the largest cup I had (24oz) and still--whoa. Is 1/2 a pack still reasonable to do or should I really work on developing a taste for the full packet?

I thought they were too at first, but truly, I did get used to them, for sure!
