I think one of the biggest ethical questions with AI in coaching is this:
AI can help us explain our work better. But it should not make the work look more developed than it is. For me, that feels like an important line. A coach’s offer, method, and client resources still need to come from their own thinking, values, training, and experience. AI can help shape the words, organise the ideas and help us see the gaps. But the care, choices, and responsibility still sit with the coach. 👉 I’d love to know what you think: Where do you think that line is?

I think we need to remember that AI is a tool. I both provide marketing services to service companies, as well as coach/help contractors get more business. I ended up here when I saw Miri in a post somewhere, and asked her about this topic... if I feel AI could be useful to coaches in a certain way. Anyway... to be open... I use AI extensively. (I sell voice AI, AI that gets Google reviews, AI generated leads, AI sales automations, etc) So I think I've seen both sides. I'm also a Catholic Deacon, so morality and humility is more than important to me. There's a thing going on in marketing circles where a LOT of the "gurus" are teaching people to use AI to build websites. *also known as "vide-coding". It creates a beautiful website in literally minutes. Yes, you still need to go in and customize/tweak it, but it does what would take me 4-5 days a few years ago in minutes... and they're beautiful sites... and I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. If I would ever sell one of these sites to a client, it would be time for me to retire. The problem is, the guys teaching this aren't honest about them, but that's another topic, lol. Why? They look incredible, but on the back-end you can't optimize them properly for the search engines. Without getting technical... yes, you can do some things to help it get some exposure and be indexed a little in Google... but if it's in any niche with the tiniest bit of competition, it has literally ZERO chances of coming up on page 1. It's a beautiful website... that nobody will see. Still, people are charging thousands for them. On the surface, it looks great... but until something changes, (and I'm sure they will) it's literally ripping someone off, using an awesome tool for bad. So to me, AI is nothing but a TOOL... but that tool needs to be in the hands of the right technician to be used properly and for good.

I use AI to help service providers and information marketers get more sales from what they’re already doing, without changing systems or spending more $ on ads.

Hello my new friends! I'm "Deacon Nick" (obviously lol) and own a digital marketing agency, as well as coach local/mobile service providers in another Skool group. The group is small, only around 110 people so far, but I teach marketing, sales, how to get new customers, do social media, use AI, etc.. In my agency, we have provided a lot of services over 15 years as the market changes, but right now we provide voice AI for sales and information purposes, AI that gathers google reviews, and AI lead generation. Happy to answer any marketing Q's if anyone has them. I've been selling online since AL Gore invented the internet. :)
