How long have you had your coaching business? ⏲️
I ask because the stage of your business shapes the kind of product that will serve you best. - a newer coach may be focused on turning their ideas into a simple paid offer. - a more experienced coach may be ready to package their method into a product that can support more clients at once. - a coach with a full calendar may be ready for a resource that brings in income beyond 1:1 work. The right product starts with where you are now 👏 Once you know that, building your next offer becomes much more focused. So tell me, how long have you had your coaching business? When did you first start coaching?

I've been doing paid coaching since 2017, but prior to that I worked for many years as an Educational Psychologist.

@Danielle Mitchell Oo, I'm interested to know more about Threads. I've never used it. Thought it had been a lot of hype and had burned out, so interested to know different.

Skool communities for B2C coaching – can a low-pressure model work?
Hi everyone, I’d love to hear from those of you who have successfully built communities on Skool for B2C coaching businesses. I’m exploring this as a possible direction, but I’m coming in with some hesitation. My past experience with Facebook groups was very low engagement, even with prompts and conversation starters, so I’m mindful of not recreating that dynamic in a different place. What I’m considering instead is something quite different:a calmer, more supportive space that people can dip into when they need it, rather than a high-energy, always-on community. One thing I’ve noticed with Skool is that it seems to encourage engagement through points, levels, and rewards, which makes sense from a platform perspective — but feels a little at odds with the kind of regulation-first, lower-pressure environment I’m aiming to create. So I’d really value hearing from people who are doing this well on Skool: - What actually drives engagement there in practice? - Do people naturally interact, or is it still heavily led by you? - How much ongoing input does it realistically take? - Have you seen it work for quieter, less “performative” audiences? - Have you adapted the gamification side at all, or leaned into it? And overall — has it been worth it for your business? I’m especially interested in honest reflections, including what hasn’t worked as expected. Thank you — I really appreciate any insights.

@Miri Campbell thank you. It's good to hear your persepective, from the other side of the group. My gut feeling is that my audience is not so inclined for the community piece, the don't mind lurking but are less willing to make their voices heard. I hope I'm wrong but it does make me hesitate to start!

What are you all watching at the moment? 👀📺
Off to make dinner… well, actually just reheating yesterday’s dinner because hubby is out tonight and it’s only me and my son, so no cooking needed. Yay!!!! 😄 Then I’m planning to relax in front of the TV 📺 Need something good to watch tonight. What are you all watching at the moment? Any recommendations?
