I actually left the house today 😂 and made a trip to Target… and I could NOT believe what I saw. Target is definitely targeting the millennials right now. 😂 They’re bringing back all kinds of 90s throwbacks, and then I walked into the book section and saw an entire display of 90s books for kids. Immediately I was like… GOOSEBUMPS! 👀📚 I was a huge reader of Goosebumps books growing up, so this definitely hit the nostalgia button for me. But of course my marketing brain kicked in too. 😂 I thought: THIS is perfect TikTok-style content. Something recognizable. Something nostalgic. Something people are already stopping to look at and talk about. So naturally… I had to catch the wave AND find a way to plug one of my own books into the content. 😂📚 LET’S GO! This is your reminder as an author: content ideas are literally everywhere. You don’t always have to create the trend. Sometimes you just have to notice what people are already paying attention to and find a natural way to connect your book to it. 🔥
