Emma Greaser - Wing Back/Wide Midfield - Class of 2027 - Bethesda SC
Amazing video from a very talented and extremely physical Wing Back! Emma loves getting forward and joining in attacks, and also LOVES smashing tackles! @Amy Greaser @Stephen Coxon
Isla Dzik - Goalkeeper - Class of 2028
Another SCSN client with an updated recruiting video. It’s always so great seeing a number of highlight reels come together to make a best of. So many times we’ve started off the process with a “yeah she’s decent” when reviewing the individual reels and by the time the best of is created it’s a “she’s very very good”. Make sure you’re sending a best of out to coaches before big showcases and summer ID camps! Awesome stuff @Isla Dzik @Steven Dzik @Stephen Coxon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dbpdHPNx28
5 Day Challenge Day #1 - Monday November 3rd
Welcome to Day 1 of the 5-Day Recruiting Challenge! We are going to spend the next 5 days completing one or two tasks per day, and by Friday we should have you completely organized and on the right path to be "Scholarship Ready!" Let's get started! Day 1: Your Highlight Video Today is all about creating or perfecting your most important recruiting tool: your highlight video. This is your digital handshake with a college coach, your chance to make a great first impression and get noticed. Without a video, it's tough to move forward in the recruiting process. Why is a highlight video so important? Think of it as your movie trailer. College coaches are incredibly busy and can't see every game. A well-made video brings your talent directly to them, showing them exactly what you can do on the field. Profiles with videos get significantly more attention. Let's figure out where you stand and what your next step is. Where Are You Now? Choose Your Path: ⚽ - Path 1: "I don't have a highlight video yet." No problem! Today is the perfect day to start. Your mission is to gather your resources and make a plan. Your Action Steps: 1. Find Your Footage: Your first task is to locate game footage. Check with your club, high school coach, or team manager. Many teams use platforms like Veo, Trace, or Hudl to record games. If you don't have access to full-game film, ask family or friends if they have clips from the sidelines. 2. Identify Your Best Moments: Watch through the footage you have. Look for 10-15 key plays that show off your skills. Don't worry about perfection; just find moments you're proud of. Think about goals, assists, great defensive stops, clever passes, or a display of your work ethic. 3. Plan Your Opening: Pick your top 3-5 clips. These will be the first 30 seconds of your video and need to grab a coach's attention immediately. 4. Gather Your Info: Write down your key details for an intro slate: 5. Full Name - Graduation Year - Position - Team Name & Jersey Number - Contact Info (Email or Phone)

Highlight Video.....How do you add music?
One of our members, @Johnathan Corsetti , has just created his first highlight video and needs some help adding music. Does anyone, including @Jack Burridge have any tips or simple tools he could use? @Duncan Parsons

@Ben Brannigan I remember when I was at a D1 school on staff we got a video from a kid with the full explicit version of Eminem in the 8 Mile rap battle scene 🤣

Female Players Class of 2027 - Game Plan!
Here are a few next steps we can focus on over the next 2-3 months: 1. Social Media: Ensure your daughter starts posting on social media if she isn’t already. (If it’s on X, have her tag me so I can repost!) Aim for at least one post per week. 2. Coach Outreach: Make sure your daughter is actively reaching out to the coaches on her list—at least twice per month. 3. ID Clinic/Showcase Calendar: Begin creating a calendar for ID clinics and showcases. Ideally, your daughter should aim to attend one event per month. 4. College Visits: Visit college campuses, attend games, and take unofficial visits whenever possible. 5. Feedback Review: Have your daughter forward me any feedback she receives from college coaches so I can review it. @Deleted @Liza Borches @Frank Vella @Emily Vella @Mia Butcher @Jerid Grandinetti @Bradley Rothman @Steven Slade

With seasons starting to wind down for teams that did not make their conference tournaments, recruiting will start picking up. NOW is the time to send emails with updated video from fall season to engage coaches. They know what they are shopping for given their likely less than successful seasons, so being top of the inbox during this time is ESSENTIAL! Emails that contain video are a must! Not including video is like applying for a job without a Resume.
