My name’s David—and everything I teach comes from reality, not theory. I didn’t grow up in a place where fights were planned or fair. There were no referees, no rules, and no time to think. Situations happened fast, out of nowhere, and if you couldn’t run, you had to handle it… immediately. I’ve been jumped. I’ve dealt with multiple attackers at once. I’ve had weapons pulled on me—knives, bats, bricks, whatever was within reach. I’ve even been shot at. That kind of environment teaches you something most “self-defense videos” don’t: real life doesn’t follow choreography. That’s why I question a lot of what’s out there—and why I do things differently. Now I’ve trained in kickboxing, taekwondo, jiu-jitsu, krav maga, and boxing. But what matters most isn’t just the styles—it’s what actually works when things get chaotic, unpredictable, and dangerous. This space isn’t about flashy techniques or unrealistic scenarios. Good morning to everyone, I'm new to Skool but I'm excited to be here.
