Hey all! I am currently an educator (band director, private teacher, adjunct college instructor, composer, arranger, lover of chess). I was drawn here by the idea of retiring now-er. That one hurts. You can see I spend all my time working and trading time for money. I don’t have a community and I need to get the car driving and out of park, to refer to Travis’ video. I want to create one that I can gain an income from using my expertise but not sure where to start. Mission and movement is intriguing. I did feel chatty. Any ideas are welcome, but I’m the one responsible for driving so I have to take that wheel.

I am calling this our 'ONE PLAN' for short. Who is with me? Will you COMMIT to ONE HOUR a day? Will you COMMIT for ONE YEAR? (If your monthly expenses are way below $10k a month, it will likely be way faster.) Look... I remember. I was working 60 to 70 hours a week SELLING my time to an employer. It was TOUGH to commit to one hour a day. I got up at 4 a.m. to MAKE SURE I got my hour in. It's not a small commitment. I am glad I made the commitment. I remember watching my son graduate from high school... It was memorable for me because I MISSED so many of his birthdays, school events and such because I had NOT figured out my RENTAL MODEL and only knew a SALES MODEL. Which meant my BOSS owned my TIME! I was THEIR RENTAL MODEL. They got to attend EVERY ONE of their two kids' events... But... I could NOT get the "time off" approved by them for my son's important days. Eric graduated in 2006... I'd given my boss the middle finger award in February of that year. And I KNEW I would 100% be attending his graduation LIVE and IN PERSON! Committing to ONE HOUR a day took me 2-ish years... But... I didn't understand the RENTAL MODEL of income VERSUS the SALES MODEL of income. I tried several "sales model" businesses. "Flipping" items/services and such. It didn't work (at first) because I had to start over at $0 every single month. And I'm NOT talking about a SUBSCRIPTION business. Subscriptions are just ONE MONETIZATION path of a RENTAL MODEL of income. (We'll jam on that more later.) But... 👀What I want to know right now? Is... 👉Are you with me? To...
