Both. But for tattooing leather i like black dotwork. Now busy designing color, with flames, and a b and g tattoo for the same person on different legs. He isn't really in to colour, but as I'm learning, he let's me do a colour one.
Hand stencil or digital stencil?
Are you the type of person who likes to hand stencil your realism tattoos or do you use a digital app to stencil them for you?

I like both. It all depends on the subject, for me. Like if there were parts geometric in it, definitely app. If there are flames in it it could be both. And sometimes i combine in one stencil
Fun colored rose
I was able to finish up this Neo-traditional-ish rose yesterday! Such a fun tattoo to do! Let me know what you think!

Clean work. In my eyes more trad than neo. Lol.
Apprenticeships
Did you have a traditional apprenticeship? Did you skip the apprenticeship all together? Do you think a good apprenticeship is necessary? Let’s hear your thoughts!

I had an apprenticeship back in Holland, when i started. Moved to Ireland, learning by myself, the hard way. There are some shops that will give me friendly advise, but won't use me. Lol. Maybe because I'm 63 now and 1 shop because it was an all female shop. Or the shop is a single studio. I should be a wet dream for any tattoo education shizzle. Saying, if we can teach this old guy tattoo we can teach everyone. My opinion is an apprenticeship is handy, because you can benefit from years of experience. Plus you have a soundboard of what could work and what not. And help you with designing and stuff. I've been an artist for many of years now and mostly working alone. So an extra pair of eyes is always welcome. Doing it alone will cost you more time and mistakes that you make will be hard to get rid off. But that's with a good apprenticeship. Online you can learn only so much and there's a lot of bullshit being sold. If you don't know what to ask, you won't ask the right stuff. Some one looking over your shoulder is super valuable.

What's paramedical? Nipple tattoo? For breast cancer?

@Jeff Simon that's cool. I hope that I will able/be good enough to that someday. Sadly I know enough people. So i know how important reconstruction tattoos are.
