Why Doing More Isn't Always Ideal
Often, people think of progress as doing more. Want to get good a push ups, do more. What to get better at running, do more. While sometimes this can work, it more often leads to dysfunctional movement patterns. Especially if you're body wasn't working well in the first place. I want you to focus on how you move. Try doing 5 squats, or walk up and down your stairs a few times. Pay attention to what it feels like. Are your heels coming up during you squat or does it bother your back? Does one foot land harder than another on the stairs?

Welcome to BHM!
This community is built around fitness ideologies that will help you get stronger, faster, and more resilient through learning how to move your body with intent during exercise. While exercising: - What should my breathing be doing while I lift or run? - What should I be thinking about while I'm performing a squat or an overhead press? - How do I make my cardiovascular endurance more efficient? - Why does it take me so long to recover after a hard effort workout? These are just some questions that barely scrap the surface of what we need to know while exercising. For most of us, our sport is life. Join me in learning how to survive life while feeling good about yourself!
