@Ren Tyler A very old condom tin, it was empty! 😂 Here's a little history behind it - This round tin held three Merry Widow condoms. During the early twentieth century, the term “Merry Widow” was commonly used to imply a sexually experienced and independent woman (the term “merry” traditionally had a sexual connotation). During the 1920s and 1930s, the Merry Widow brand was so popular that the term “Merry Widow” became slang for a condom. These were expensive at the time because they were tested for holes. $1.00 for the tin.

@Ren Tyler I found it on a permission that I had for an old homesite (home no longer there) that dated back to around 1920. I do not know exactly how old it is but if it dates back to the 1920s that would date it to around 105 years old. That's what I really enjoy about the hobby - the history. I find things like that and do the research. It's fascinating to me.
Make Money on Skool While You’re Still Setting Up 📽️ (New Video)
You don’t need to have a big community to start earning from Skool. As soon as you’re here, you already have an affiliate link. That means you can share Skool with others and get paid when they sign up. Here are a few simple ways you could share it. On social media or in a message: “I just started creating my own Skool because it finally feels doable to set up a business space without all the complicated tech. What I love is that you can try it free for 14 days and see if it’s a fit for you too. Here’s my link: (your link)” “I have some exciting news to share with you. I’ve been trying to find a simple way to bring my business ideas together without juggling ten different tools. I just started setting up on Skool and it’s been a game changer. You can actually try it free for 14 days and after that it’s only $9 a month. Here’s my link if you want to check it out: (your link)” “I’m setting up something on Skool because it finally makes building a business community realistic without all the tech headaches. If you’ve been thinking about starting something too, this might help: (your link)” “I have some exciting news to share with you. For a long time I kept putting off creating my own space online because every platform felt too complicated or expensive. Then I found Skool. It keeps community, courses, and calls all in one place and it’s so easy to use. You can try it out with a free 14 day trial here: (your link)” You can also share this video to give people the brief overview of what Skool is and why it’s powerful. (Just make sure you include your affiliate link. How to find it will be in the comments!) Every person who signs up through your link could start at $9 a month, but many upgrade to $99... and that’s where your commissions really grow. This is a great way to start making money now, even while you’re still setting things up. Have you made affiliate money from Skool yet?

Where’s Your Main Traffic Coming From?
Skool News today shared that growth = traffic × conversion, and traffic can be a bigger challenge if you don't have a plan. If you had to pick just one, where’s your main traffic source? (If you like combos, you have to comment.. sorry it's the rules lol)

Where’s Your Main Traffic Coming From?

I currently get my traffic from Youtube and I am working on building my email list from a free lead magnet that I use. I am also interested in TikTok but I'm pretty lost on that platform to be honest. I would be interested to know what some best practices are for TikTok. I have links in my bio but aside from that I'm lost.
Finish These 4 Skool Sentences 👀
Love seeing so many new faces on Skool. I thought it would be fun to hear how each of you approaches the key moments that shape your community. There is no right answer, just different perspectives we can all learn from. Yes, even if you’re new! I want to hear your take :) The most important thing to do when… • joining Skool for the first time is • inviting people to your community is • when new members join your community is • creating a paid offer is Whether you answer one or all of them, your take could be the exact insight someone else needs. (I’ll share my perspective later on tonight.)

1. When joining Skool for the first time - start the Skool 101 course and start watching the Skool news (all of them) 2. Inviting people to your community is easier than you think. 3. When new member join my community I welcome them in a post with an @ mention 4. Creating a paid offer is something I haven’t done yet.
Are You Making These 3 Skool Mistakes? 📽️ New Video Out
It’s completely normal to bring habits over from other platforms. But Skool works differently, and some of those habits can quietly hold you back. If you’ve been wondering why things feel off… wondering why what used to work is not working now… or you’ve been stuck in planning mode trying to “get it right” before inviting people in… this video will help! It walks through 3 common mistakes that make it harder for your community to grow, connect, or feel alive. If the video helps, like and subscribe so you don’t miss future ones. And if you know someone just getting started, send it their way. 🫶 👇 Which one of these have you run into already? (Mine is in the comments)

@Lisa Vanderveen I'm still working on it. I only have 5 members so far. I am hoping more of the direct invites work.
