I’ve learned that sometimes the best deal is the one you decide to walk away from. A parcel might look cheap on the surface, but once you dig into access, zoning, taxes, title, or actual demand in the area, the numbers can change pretty quickly. There’s nothing wrong with passing on a deal. Sometimes walking away saves you from an expensive headache, and teaches you what to look for in the next one. What’s one red flag that would make you walk away from a land deal? Has one ever saved you from making a bad investment?
