What's more valuable: "The System" or "A Systems Thinker"?
I think the answer is obvious in my opinion. But I feel it's important to share the most underrated perspective when it comes to Systems Consulting/DFY Agencies.... A systems thinker is 100% more valuable than the system they leave behind. Platforms evolve, SOPs change... nothing ever stays the SAME. Break down a business into departments: - Finance - Marketing - Sales - Product Development - Etc. And we can see the core anatomy of a business is the same across the board, the difference lies in the offer, proprietary SOPs, and people involved (values). So when we understand the anatomy of the business, we can drop into ANY company, in ANY niche, and know exactly where to look first. The system someone hands you is just a snapshot, it was the right answer for one moment in time. But the moment the platform updates, the offer shifts, or a new hire changes the team dynamic, that snapshot is already out of date. The systems thinker doesn't hand you a snapshot. They hand you the lens. This is the difference between buying a fish and learning to fish, except it's bigger than that. A systems thinker teaches you to read the water, to know which season the fish move, to build the rod when the old one breaks. The system is the fish. The thinker is everything around it. Here's what this means practically: - A system without a systems thinker rots. It runs fine until the first edge case nobody documented, then it quietly breaks and nobody knows why. - A systems thinker without a system is still dangerous. Drop them in cold and they will rebuild what's missing, because they understand the anatomy, not just the artifact. So if you're hiring, building a team, or deciding what to invest in for your own skillset, optimize for the THINKER, not the artifact. Buy the SOP if you need a quick win. Become the systems thinker if you want to never be stuck again. That's the whole game. What do you think? Are you collecting systems, or are you building the way you think?

And then build the AI orchestration system that your system thinker can think in and create in. As the business owner, you own the asset, and you're getting to capitalize on their institutional knowledge. Whether they stay or go, their brain power never leaves. Now you can focus on hiring A-team players, firing C-team players, and letting the A-team players' knowledge and system thinking inside your system improve B-team players' productivity.
I wired my AI agent fleet into Slack as a real-time team surface
Quick share for anyone running persistent agents who wants their whole team, not just themselves, able to work with them. I just connected my AscendOps agent fleet to Slack, so the agents are reachable and controllable from a Slack channel in real time, right alongside the Telegram control I already had. Here is what is set up, how it works, and what it unlocks. WHAT IS SET UP - Real-time inbound over Socket Mode, so a message hits the agent the instant it is posted, no polling lag. - An identity layer: every inbound message is stamped with who sent it (name and @handle), so the agent knows exactly which human it is talking to. - A trusted-users allowlist that fails closed: only handles you explicitly trust can drive the agents. If left unconfigured it logs a loud warning and stays open, so you are never silently exposed. - Outbound too: the agent replies and posts straight back into the channel. HOW IT WORKS UNDER THE HOOD - Socket Mode gives a persistent WebSocket connection, so there is no public webhook endpoint to host or secure. - The Slack listener and the existing message bus share one path, so a Slack message becomes a normal item in the agent's queue, same as any other input. - The trust check runs on both the live socket and the fallback path, so there is no unguarded backdoor if the socket drops. WHAT IT UNLOCKS - Team visibility: instead of a private DM with the agent, the whole team sees agent activity in a shared channel. - Multi-human input: teammates can task or ask the agent directly, and it knows who is who. - The agent posting briefings, status, and approvals into a channel where the team can act on them. - A foundation for an operator or executive-assistant setup where the agent runs your day and your team plugs in through the tool they already live in. Happy to go deeper on any piece.

@Garratt Campton I have not, but that is now something I will go down. Thank you for another rabbit hole that I will get to spend far too much time and joy chasing. 🤣😂🤣
🚨 Will be stepping away 5/30-6/02!
So some of you may have heard I'm getting married this weekend, so I'm going to have to step away from messaging resources, course building, and everything! I'm going to be answering the last few messages in the inbox today. If any of you guys have any serious situations or things you need help with at this current moment, just drop something below here on this post. I just want to tell you how much I appreciate you all for being here and your support. It's been a blessing to serve you all, add to your skill sets, and build the relationships that we all have now. Lots of great things to come in quarters 3-4 of 2026, and into 2027 🥂

Are you going to shut the Skool community down
📋 Procedure Ops (SOP Building Skills)
Just launched a new skill set for Claude Code, you guys can grab the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) builder automation here -> Procedure Ops Full COO in a box, @Philippe Brouillard I know you have your COO and other executive skills/agents. But this is one fully built by me, and can be merged to be used with your executive agents. Same goes for everyone, if you run a business, and need to document your processes, THIS IS YOUR GOLDEN TICKET. Grab it and start using it today, thank me later! :) also.... feel free to drop feedback on it please!

Brother, I was literally in ChatGPT right now, building out a way to take my agents, playbooks, SOPs, skills, structure it, get it out of my head and co-workers' heads and into agents.

@Charles Dove Already forked it. Giving it to my agents. On the drive home
📞 UPCOMING: This Saturday Call is at 2pm EST
If you're a business owner here and feel like you're falling behind with AI, do NOT miss this upcoming call. And the topic will be chosen by you guys! As I mentioned in my previous post, this call is open to EVERYONE. You don't need a technical background, you just need to be willing to show up, and learn. I'm not a coder, nor will I probably ever learn to code. But these tools are LIFE changing for business owners when used the right way. I've been building all sorts of systems with Claude Code & would love to share what you guys need to learn more about: - lead generation system - social media content workflow - data analytics systems - CRM integrations (Underrated but essential) I mean I can go on and on, but please DROP a comment below with what YOU need.
