renewable energy installations
I want to offer solar, battery, EV Charging, panel upgrades and generator installs, and I’m looking for some guidance. I’ve done these kinds of installs in the past, but it’s been a while, and I want to get confident with the process again. I’m also figuring out how to offer these systems to clients, whether as a full install or in phases if they’re on a budget. So if any of you have tips on where to get refresher training—maybe from vendors or other resources—or how to break down and present these offers to customers in a simple way, I’d really appreciate it.

I'm curious to hear more about solar companies, for EV Chargers I find it depends a lot on the brand, and for generators in my area, Generac has a big presence and offers trainings, etc

@Alfredo Ortega I haven’t looked into it, I’m doing incredibly well with residential service
Finding a Target Market
Hope you all are doing well. I’m working around the DMV and Baltimore area, but I’m also looking to figure out where else might be a good spot to focus on for things like panel upgrades, battery installs, and EV charging. Basically, I’m trying to get a read on how you all figure out the best markets to work in—whether that’s here or somewhere else entirely. If you’ve got any tips on how to scout out profitable areas or identify where the demand is hot for electricians, I’m all ears. I’m not tied down to just one place, so I’d love to hear how you guys choose your next best market.

What's your current stage of business? can you share your website or facebook page? I've found luck being more of a "vet" than a "general practitioner" (When you go to the vet, they generally have what you need - at an upcharge; a GP is going to prescribe you the cure, you have to do the follow up) We want to be the vet, we want to provide all the solutions our license allows. EV chargers, panel upgrades, while those have sure been my higher ROI's some of those wouldn't have happened if I ignored their service call for a tripped GFCI or replacing a ceiling fan. It's about Lifetime Value of a client, not the quick hit
