@Truck Johnson 1gram per pound of body weight is supposedly optimal. Honestly if you’re just starting out just try your best to get at least 150 grams of protein per day

Yeah protein shakes are 1 way to take in more protein. Just make sure you’re getting as much protein as possible through food and use the shakes to supplement that, not to replace meals.

@Truck Johnson it really depends on your goals. If it’s for aesthetics then hitting upper chest first would make the most sense. If it’s strength then it would be more beneficial to do flat bench press first. As far as doing it on separate days, I would say just do them together in the same workout
