Can I ask some about philosophy here?
I HATE when I see people complaining in the book reviews. About the PEARLS that an author share in his $20 book. Like "the book sucked because it only had the authors TOP TEN BEST SELLING email campaigns and no how tos.." (spoon feeding mentality) Or when they complain about the information as DATED Without even trying to relate the CONTEXT to its own life's situation or TIMING... I imagine a person with bottle bottom glasses trying to discover A WHOLE NEW WORLD without notice its already WALKING ON IT. (Or reading in this case..) This fragment from an OLD BOOK. "Few people appreciate free gifts. They are like the man whom admiring townsfolk presented with a watch. He looked it over critically for a minute. Thenā€”ā€Where’s the chain?ā€ he asked." Its all about VALUE DELIVERY, QUALITY CONTENT and what not. (Not talking about SEO purposes ) Hell! even my dog has a tiktok with tips on, how to find the right pole to pee... I honestly see it as a TON of BS because today freaking AI can spit out whatever and the perception of "value" is diluted. Its all about Bait.. reel .. release, repeat -- pull and catch!? --Or how do you manage to weight on what you give, what you charge for and how much? -- I get that about the value equation and I have a framework using the TIMER dimensions or Maslow's pyramid or LF8s... Probably Travis already talk about it or leave the breadcrumbs. But I would like hear your thoughts on the matter. You can tell me if I need to shut up about this stuff around here If it doesn't make sense or apply.

Are you upset about reviews @Julian M ? Or... Are you spottin' who's NOT your audience? That's the killer advantage of your perspective. It filters out the ask holes, skimmers, and bottom feeders. So, you can focus on those that'll light your fire, not snuff it out. Your frustration isn't a flaw, bud' It's a frikin' compass! 😁
What kinda of Pie?🄧

So... c'mon then! What's the title?
Community Growth Ideas Please!
What's up land Mojo... I've been working on my group, Raising Entrepreneurial Kids, ever since I left Travis in Little Rock. Here's the strategy/results so far: - Posting 2-3 times per week - Started doing interviews with other parents - Posting on my FB and old email list to direct people to the group - Talking & adding value in other groups - 65 members, no attempt at monetization I'm struggling with two things... growth and engagement. I thought that interviews would help increase the growth rate, as it taps into other people's audiences (while also being super valuable and interesting). Engagement proves hard too, even with encouragement... a lot of people just like to lurk. I've talked this through with @James Foster and @Adrian Hall - both had super helpful points. But I also want to tap into the brain trust here. Firstly, my two concern that may or may not be reality... 1. My group isn't focused on ROI, it's also not focused directly on the group member. Obviously, people care about their kids... but there's no fixed outcome I can really promise here. 2. Skool feels like a suboptimal platform for the growth & engagement side of things when compared to facebook. People log in to Facebook every day... not so much with Skool. But I do consider this a minor concern. Secondly, some further ideas I've had... 1. Instead of locking the interviews away in the Skool group - put them on YouTube and point people to the group. However, I could see the same issue here with getting the word out about the YouTube channel. 2. A 7-day "sell your stuff" challenge. I've polled the group on this, but I could see this being a $7 offer I run traffic to - to bring people into the group. So... Any ideas on the above... Or what I could do to boost growth & engagement? TY

šŸ‘‡Use these ideas with all the great stuff already shared...šŸ‘‡ 🚌 The Branson Bus Stop Principle (a gentle kick in the shins for your community strategy) When Richard Branson was four, his mum dropped him at a London bus stop and said, ā€œRight then… find your way home. ā€Four miles, no GPS, Ipad, or snacks. Just a tiny human and the BIG wide world. (you remember that huh?) Most parents clutch their pearls at this story. But here’s the real lesson... She wasn’t raising a child. She was manufacturing a problem-solver. Now… I'm gonna be a bit cheeky... Your group is lovely. Warm. And helpful. Like a nice, safe playpen with inspirational posters on the walls. But entrepreneurial kids aren’t grown in playpens. They’re forged in moments... tiny real-world tests where the kid thinks... ā€œOh… I CAN actually do this.ā€ Right now, your group (maybe) gives parents advice. Good advice. But not the thing that actually changes kids (or parents)... Initiations. Rites of passage. Little Branson moments. Lurkers lurk because there’s nothing to pull them out of the spectator seat and into the arena. So here’s your friendly nudge šŸ˜‰ šŸ‘‰ Stop building a content hub. And build a rite-of-passage factory. Here are just a few zero-faff ideas you could drop in tomorrow... šŸ’„The Ā£5 Branson Challenge - Give your kid a fiver. Their job? Make more of it, No intstructions orā€œhelpful hints, And definately NO helicopter parenting. (Parents post what happened — wins or disasters.) šŸ’„The ā€œDon’t Save Themā€ Moment Once a week, parents share one moment they resisted swooping in. (Bonus points if they admit how twitchy it made them.) šŸ’„The First Sale Ritual... Every parent documents their kid earning their first pound. This becomes your weekly celebration post. Trust me - parents will share these with friends. (Remember when Travis asked when you earned your first $ online... same thing) šŸ’„The Producer Sightings. Parents drop any moment where their kid solved a problem unprompted.

@Karen Mack wow!... Great Ideas
Business model question šŸ¤”
For the Mojos who have been in the business world for a long time, would you say that the Community Fire Mojo model is the best freedom based and leveraged business model out there? If not, what else is equally freedom-based and lifestyle focused?

And @Harry Smith ... Travis doesn’t just talk this stuff; he demonstrates it in real time. Every. Single. Day. I’m only just starting to realise…this isn’t some niche trick or ā€œFlame-onlyā€ Jedi move. This sh*t works anywhere humans gather. Rooms. Groups. Threads. Communities. Anywhere people are orbiting a story…this model slips right in and lights the whole place up. All we gotta do is watch, listen, learn, and take action, or vice versa. (oh, and press the "I believe" button) šŸ˜‰
