I discovered something interesting tonight. I watched a video on YouTube where the presenter created five apps with both Fable 5 and OpenAI's Sol. In each case, they both created very similar sophisticated apps. However, also in each case, Fable 5 took considerably longer to create the apps, and cost around $40 for each app, whereas Sol cost about $6. I just asked Sol to create me a custom screen recorder, like Loom, ScreenPal and ScreenRec, but more customized to what I want. And it did a great job. Then I wondered how much of my usage had been used up, and I checked, and I still had 95% of my usage left (Plus account), so it was pretty cool.

Two weeks ago we built a working content machine with Claude Code — an idea in, a week of captions out. It looked great running on localhost. But "it works on my computer" isn't the same as "it works for the world." This week, we close that gap. This is Part 2 of the build.
