Hello everybody I'm Dave. Beginner. Like old school stuff like Journey, Skynyrd, Aerosmith Acoustic Zeppelin. Recently retired. What to really learn now.

Is the trick of bending strings is using thin strings. I am inclined to use heavy strings for the volume they give and less chance of breaking them but they are not great for bending. I play an non acoustic guitar, semi acoustic electric guitar and now I have a large electric full size acoustic 12 string guitar, which I am still trying to master. I know that the average guitarist would say that I am being a bit ambitious about using a 12 string guitar but I love the sound it gives. I play for pleasure only. 🤔

Hey yall , I'm Tim been playing 40 + years , still learning , still playing, always writing. Been alone wolf all my life and it has nothing to do with my disposition.lol
