Prompt of the Day 💻📸 Wednesday | Kyoto Garden Reset
Using this reference photo, keep the person’s face and hair exactly the same. Create a travel portrait in a peaceful garden in Kyoto, with stone paths, greenery, and traditional wooden details in the background. The person is standing calmly, hands relaxed, thoughtful and serene expression. Mood feels grounded, reflective, and balanced. Lighting is soft afternoon daylight, slightly diffused, creating gentle highlights on the face and natural colors all around. Shot on a Nikon Z8, 85mm lens, eye-level angle, shallow depth of field so the garden softly blurs. Style is high-end travel lifestyle photography, calm, timeless, and realistic. Extra trick: I asked Gemini to "show a wider picture of this garden" after I saw the final result to see more of the background. 😉

@Lenora Hughes I've always enjoyed watching karate and kung fu movies, and seeing "myself" in a martial arts stance is so cool. And I practise these moves from time to time, too. 😊

Prompt of the Day 💻✍🏾 | Egypt Desert and Pyramids
Using this reference photo, keep the face and hair exactly the same. Create a powerful travel portrait in Egypt standing on warm golden desert sand with the Great Pyramids of Giza visible in the background. The person is standing tall with relaxed shoulders, looking confident and calm, as if taking in the history around them. A light desert breeze can gently move the clothing or hair. The mood feels strong, awe inspired, and grounded. Lighting should be soft golden hour sunlight, warm glow on the face, smooth shadows, and a slightly hazy desert sky for depth. Shot on a Nikon Z8 with an 85mm lens, eye level angle, shallow depth of field so the pyramids are clear but softly softened behind the person. Style is high end travel lifestyle photography, bright, cinematic, realistic skin texture, and rich warm desert tones.

The $200M Question: Where Do AI Ethics End and Defense Needs Begin?
Breaking: The Pentagon is reportedly considering terminating its $200M contract with Anthropic after the AI company refused to grant unrestricted military use of its Claude AI system. According to reports, the dispute centers on Anthropic's resistance to allowing Claude for "all lawful purposes" without restrictions—a standard the Defense Department typically requires. Adding complexity to the situation: Claude was allegedly used through a Palantir deployment linked to the Pentagon during the recent U.S. military operation that resulted in the capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro. This raises significant questions about: • AI ethics vs. national security priorities • The boundaries of "acceptable use" for AI in military operations • How AI companies balance commercial relationships with their stated values The tension between Anthropic's AI safety commitments and defense applications may set precedent for how other AI firms navigate similar partnerships. #AI #Defense #Ethics #Anthropic #Pentagon

@Natasha Huggins @Lenora Hughes I believe the military should have its own separate and independent AI models that are not connected/associated with AI companies that provide AI services to the general public. I would not be happy to use the services of AI companies that have close integrated ties with military entities such as the Pentagon. This is a concern that should be brought fully into the public domain to be discussed and debated. We need full transparency on the nature of the relationships between the major AI players and military entities.

@Lenora Hughes Most definitely: we, the users, will be the biggest winners. Especially if we dig deep and learn how to use the powerful AI tools that have emerged and continue to evolve. Leaders in AI such as Anthropic and OpenAI are raising the alarm that the world is not ready for what is about to happen on the jobs front, where the use of AI will soon be replacing a wide range of work roles. The message is clear: LEARN AI NOW! DON'T WAIT!
