Hello Peter I hope you are well today, having watched the webinar from the 15/2 and had a read through the trust handbook i still feel compelled to set up a private trust. However, is the Jersey trust the best way forward?

Protection/safeguard everything right now. It’s my got feeling and too often in the past I haven’t trusted my instincts and paid dearly for it . Interestingly Peter; my wife has worked as a cleaner for a solicitor for nearly 10 years now. He sorted our ID1 forms out, whilst there his PA said;”there are so many people setting up trusts right now, what’s going on?” If I do this I can then help my kids do it too, does that make sense?
RX1
Hi all, I am just filling in form RX1,Section 5 asks Documentation lodged with this form, is that for personal identification ? If so what is the best form of identification to send ?

Trust UBi
Hi all, after nearly a year in the group yesterday finally started the process of creating a trust. I know there’ll be many questions- slow learner unfortunately- but I was wondering if I should divide the units between my wife an and kids only because being retired- sort of- is it necessary for me at the tender age of 66 to hold any?
