Hi @Scott Matthews . Last night I competed in my 2nd tournament ever in hot and sweaty Bangkok. This time 8-ball (last week it was 9-ball) on 9-foot tables. Last week I came last or second-last. This week, after just 10 days practising the fundamentals of the pre-shot routine in the Coaching Vault, I played for 6 hours, and finished third - beaten only by the two guys in the final who win every bloody tournament. I very nearly beat the top guy. Everyone asked "what happened?" They said I was "on fire". Well, what happened was I attended to every shot with the same level of respect and followed the same routine - even the simple shots. I'm still making errors, but I was making a higher percentage of long pots and getting better placement. This routine has given me focus, really helped my game, and I'm enjoying it more too.
