Anyone else reached their "feck this" era? 😂
I shared a new video today and somehow what started out as a post about perimenopause and HRT turned into a deep dive on people pleasing, boundaries, and finally realising I matter too😂 The older I get, the less interested I am in making myself smaller to keep everyone else comfortable Anyway... if you've ever had a "feck this" moment in life, you'll probably relate Would love to know what resonated with you most if you've watched it ❤️

@James Humecky realizing that I could die and nothing would change the next day at the company I was working for - like nothing at all, BUT also that I could work there for the next 10 years and that wouldn’t really *matter* to anyone’s lives.. that got me.

@James Humecky next steps: gain financial security; at least enough so I can chase my dreams without knowing it will make my family literally homeless, then go for it: put myself out there every day, being myself, sharing about what I love in video every single day.
What you say and how you say it is just as important as what you sell.
I see this happen all the time - businesses have a fantastic product or service but their marketing is so devoid of emotional connection that it doesn't sell or sell well. ANY brand can dramatically change the way their marketing lands with just a few simple changes to What they say, and How they say it - which is illustrated here with the two pictures of our hitchhiker. The important thing to note is that the products/service (our hitchhiker) hasn't changed a bit. Same person/business needing the same outcome, a ride/sale. But the two small changes to What is said and How it's said (message and smile) make all the difference in the world in terms of how we perceive it, relate to it, and feel drawn to engage with it. This is a great lesson for every brand. You don't need a ton of money to make great advertising - you need a great message and engaging presentation of that message. That's what counts. In my next post, I'll share examples of this in the real world - like comparing water brands, dog food brands, car advertising, etc. to dive deeper into how it works for brands you know.
