As fans of Danny from the early days of the scene, it's a pleasure to host him and have him share with you all the skills and knowledge he's developed over the years as an artist. We are proud to announce an exclusive collaboration between Subhills Records and Hypnotic Production School. We know that a lot of producers struggle to get their demos heard or even receive responses from labels. We hear you and we are here to help solve that problem.... Over the past months our team has been building relationships behind the scenes, and we are excited to open a new door exclusively for our community. Together with Tokyo based label owner Jiho we will be launching a 4 track VA on Subhills Records. Each release will be handpicked by Modēm and Jiho, selecting the strongest music coming from inside the school. This is your opportunity to appear on a credible label and have your music pushed out into the world. We are looking for your BEST tracks. We will be hosting a VA every 3 months starting APRIL 🔥 So you will have multiple chances to be selected this year 👊🏻 One rule: You must have been inside the school for at least 30 days, so the music represents your progress while being part of the community. The next VA is different. This one has a twist. We are pairing artists inside the community to collaborate on a track. The Connection Project intends to connect artists, strengthen our community and combine your sounds to create something unique. This is preparation for your future so that when opportunities appear you are ready 🔥 We will select the strongest records only, As always. We suggest finding a suitable partner, both of you create a groove. Share stems to each other, and re work the grooves with the new stems, one of you could be strong in low end and percussion, the other in fx and synths. Play into each other's strengths. From there discuss your progress, ideas, hop on a zoom call or do it over dm it's up to you. Decide on the final groove and then move into the arrangement, both arrange the project and again share the stems, make some final adjustments and from there agree on the final version. Just a suggestion, you can proceed as you see fit.
