It’s hard to get out of your comfort zone most often. We typically settle in to the norm and don’t push too hard. But… when you do hit the “hard” button, the reward is so much greater. I have always felt that way and experienced the other side as a reward. Tomorrow I will be running a half marathon. 5 years ago this would have been a weekend workout. Today, it’s going to be a challenge and more than likely, harder than I want. But I’m here, 1200 miles away from home, intentionally choosing hard. Stay tuned for the after actions report.
