So, yesterday RyMac helped me craft my first commercial campaign for a client: my brother's event management company. Not only that but he helped me set up my Allodra seat. Allodra is his GoHighLevel alternative. I've used GHL and I can say that Allodra works perfectly well for what I need, without the extra stuff from GHL that nobody uses anyway. So here is my brother's reaction at the end of the day: "OMG! I've tried all kinds of posts, newsletters...I've hired social media agencies. Nothing worked! What a difference does it make when you brought this strategic commercial/marketing thinking and system!" Allodra was worth every cent of the upgrade Tks @Ry Mac for your teachings, your generosity and your hands-on approach. PS: See attached today's screenshot of the pipeline view from Allodra.

Lesson 1. Your average business person does not care about AI
Some background first. AI is cool and building has been fun, but if I can't make money doing this then what is the point of spending all the hours on it. Hence, I found Rymac and joined this group. The thing is, I have been stuck for a while on what to actually sell. Like a lot of you I can build a bunch of stuff with AI at this point, and that turned out to be the problem, because "I can build a bunch of stuff" is not an offer and nobody knows what to do with it. So I started calling people. Old contacts, mostly real estate agents. The plan was that I would help them with AI. Train them up, show them how to get their marketing together, teach them to use the tools properly. Save them a bunch of time and help them make more money. That is not what happened. They don't care. Not skeptical, just not interested. Most of them think AI makes slop, because bad output is the only output they have ever seen. They have no idea what it can actually do, and nobody has ever sat down and shown them. Hell, half of them have access to tools for free and they don't use them. And if you try to explain it, you lose them. About two sentences in and you are talking to a deer in headlights. So I stopped explaining. I am moving toward doing it for them instead, as a done for you service. Everything else in this series came out of that turn.

@Rc Hall I appreciate it RC Hall. Great advice, I'm finding most people want to see something from me and I have been trying to sell before building anything. I think both ways can work, I'm just trying to find my sea legs sort of speak, in this space. Thanks again.
Selling before building???
So I had a really good call the other day with someone I had talked to a couple of times. I got a warm yes and immediately started to panic, because I was selling before I had anything built. So, I started building as soon as I got off the phone. I was worried that I needed to have something to show them. That was mostly a waste of time, maybe they will swing back at some point but I'm not holding my breath. Is anyone else trying to sell before building? How are you going about it?

@Harsimran Singh I'm not saying it would change anything, and with this person I don't think it would have made any difference. Maybe I explained myself poorly. This lady doesn't matter at all, I was just sharing that for context. I'm just trying to see what best practices are.

@Harsimran Singh Her database was just a google spreadsheet. All good points though and getting more of a commitment in the future is the plan. I have been watching a lot of Ry Mac's videos that helped me plan this. If I diagnose my own process, I think it was more about me not having clarity on what I was offering at the time. I started off with a plan and worked my way to a much simpler idea that was easier to explain.

I was just looking into how to do this the other day. Perfect timing. As a real estate guy, I built almost everything on referrals, word of mouth, and staying in contact with my past clients. So brand new to this way of getting business.
