I Asked A.I. What the Future of Original Music Looks Like...
Here are a few highlights: "In 2030, the musical landscape will be a hybrid of human creativity and AI efficiency" "Original artists and songwriters will thrive by emphasizing what AI can't replicate" "Gig artists will shine brightest" "Humans won't fade; they'll evolve, co-creating with AI to amplify uniqueness and build sustainable careers" Full reply in the comments!

I asked AI how AI will hurt non using AI artists in the future... It replied...AI generated music is already flooding the market, with almost 50,000 fully generated tracks daily. AI music is hogging up available algorithm possibilities of non-AI artists in desperate need of them . Traditional Artists will receive fewer streams, lower payouts and reduced sync licensing (ads, films, games etc.) Session Musicians, Background composers and singers and producers will have less opportunity as AI takes over a big percentage of their jobs.

The Chili Parlor Bar in Austin, Texas... made famous by Guy Clark's song Dublin Blues... than again with Steve Earle's cover of the same song... Dublin Blues definitely put the Chili Parlor Bar and Mad Dog Margaritas on the Map 😅

What are your thoughts on A.I. in music?
Curious your thoughts- I'd like to put together a course on A.I. in music, how we think it will affect independent artists, and where we anticipate the music industry going? What are your thoughts?

I don't like the idea of AI in music period... that said to each their own. I do however agree with others that any use of AI on released music should most definitely be clearly labeled as such... including lyrics, when registered they should be labeled AI created.

@Gabe Schillman @Preston Berg had some very good points and I value them. I do however, wish we cautiously look ahead at how AI affects all facets of music going forward. Oliver Anthony recently spoke on how many large Country Music Acts are using backing tracks and vocals during Live performances. Given time AI possibly could find a way to make incognito appearances on the big stage... It already has, lyrically. I believe in free choice, if one wants to use AI in their music, so be it. I (like many others) just ask for Transparency and admission (disclosure) when doing so. Watching this request fall on deaf ears to the Industry Bigs in power scares the Hell out of me!
