What is one belief you hold that has actually cost you something in real life? Not online. Not hypothetically. Something you paid for with: - a relationship - your reputation - your peace - your certainty You don’t need to explain it perfectly. You don’t need to defend it. If you want to answer, keep it honest

I’ll go first. I believed that telling the truth would always earn respect. It cost me promotions. It cost me relationships. It cost me being invited into rooms where decisions were made. I don’t regret it but I’d be lying if I said it didn’t hurt or make me question whether silence would’ve been easier. Your turn if you’re willing.

I’m not trying to turn this into a feed. I made this because I’m tired of people being loud about what they’re sure of and quiet about what they carry. Most of us don’t have a place to put the second part. I don’t expect anyone to perform here. I’m not going to either. I’ll post when I have something real to put down. You’re free to do the same.
