Monday Check-In: July 27, 2026Your One Small Step
Happy Monday, everyone. New week, clean page. Let's do our simple Monday ritual together. Pick just one part of your life that could use a little light this week. Your health, a friendship, your sense of purpose, your mind, the spaces you spend your days in, whatever has felt quiet lately. Just one. Now name one small step for it. So small it is almost easy. A ten-minute walk. One phone call to someone you miss. One page of the book on your nightstand. That is the whole thing. Small and doable beats big and someday, every single time. Drop your one step in the comments. Saying it out loud here, where a few other people can see it, makes it far more likely to actually happen. And it gives the rest of us a nudge too. I will go first below. I just wan to get back to my posting routine here and on Facebook (It will work on my Intellectual and Social dimensions for sure and probably boost my emotional one as well. What is your one small step this week?

Monday Morning Check-In — Week of June 22
Good morning, everyone. New week, clean slate. This week's idea is the anchor habit: one small action you attach to something you already do. After my morning coffee, I read for ten minutes. The coffee is the anchor, the reading is the habit. It's tiny, but it ripples outward, into a sharper mind, a better mood, and something to talk about with others. That's the whole secret, really. You don't overhaul your life. You pick one small thing and anchor it to a moment that already happens. So here's this week's check-in: what is one small habit you'd like to anchor to your day this week, and what will you attach it to? Drop it in the comments. Saying it out loud is how it starts to stick, and we'll cheer each other on. I'll go first below. 👇 I plan to anchor with finishing lunch which will be followed by a 20-30 minutes walk of bike ride.

Matthew - I am in another group for independent consultants and we just were talking about structure. I like this idea because it starts small rather than building out my entire week. I have an anti idea - I am going to drink my coffee outside on the back porch in the am without looking at my phone for the first 15-20 minutes of the day.
