I really divided the room with this one on Skoolers!
😂 An interesting debate for sure! Read the whole article here

You stirred the pot for sure. I'm actually surprised it wasn't taken down. Usually skoolers deletes stuff like that. I don't like being muzzled. But I understand it is every owners right to make that rule. I just think you are shooting yourself in the foot. It makes the bad seeds self promote where you can't see it, like in people's DM's. I've been in groups where I've reported several people for doing that. Left a few groups because it was out of control. There's just a time and place for it. If you make that available, in my experience, people are generally cool about it.

@Adam McCollough Hum... maybe. Still you should have had to edit it either.
I Need Your Advice: Help Me Build Our Next Step
Last night I sat down for a raw strategy session with Goose Dunlavey to pull apart my coaching offer and pricing. If you know me, you know I don't believe in generic "blueprints". I believe every business requires a specific action plan based on your unique skills and resources. Normally, my 1:1 coaching rate is £300 ($400) an hour. But I want to package my brain, my problem-solving, and my experience into an offer that actually fits our "Start a Business with No Money" ethos, while still giving you the high-level mentorship you need to break through your roadblocks. I originally had a plan to launch a $97 and $297 tier. But Goose told me that multiple offers can cut conversions in HALF (He knows Skool a lot better than me). He challenged me to drop the tiers entirely and offer a single, flat-rate $600/month mastermind strictly capped at 20 people to ensure that I am able and willing to deliver the best attention you deserve, so everyone gets massive results. Now, I'm torn... You are the Builders of this community, and you are the heartbeat of this clubhouse. I don't want to guess what you need, so I'm asking you directly. If you were to upgrade to get more direct help from me, which of these three models would you most likely sign up for, and why? These are just EXAMPLES of what the final offer/s could look like: (Please be brutally honest. I won't hold you to it, and nobody is pulling out a credit card today! I just genuinely value your opinion and want to create an offer that works for us all!) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Option 1: The "Hot Seat" Group Tier ($97 / month) - The Vibe: Cheaper, larger group setting where you learn from others' challenges. - What you get: Weekly live focus group sessions where we do "Business Teardowns". You might get a quick 5-10 minute hot seat to let my ADHD-powered brain solve your immediate problem. Plus, you get full access to my paid Substack vault, the resource library, and a 20% discount if you ever want to book a 1:1 call with me.

@Adam McCollough I'm not sure... Maybe. 🤷‍♀️ We've talked a lot about both our communities and personal lives. Just sayin... That helps all parties involved. I KNOW that's what you really want. Cause that's who you are. 😏🫶

This is seriously not how I planned to start my Wednesday! 😖
Why is it always on the days when you have deadlines, calls, and so many things to do.. I'd literally only just got the computer set up perfectly after It got hacked in March. I was struggling today before I even turned the computer on 🫣 I hope you're having a much more productive day and if you're not then know you're not alone!!

Sorry your computer took a dump. Glad you got it through this time and are back to getting things done. (Yeah, I'd buy a new one if I could too.) Onward and upwards...
Day of clearing the pond - Week 4..!
I've been busy working in other jobs this week, so pond project progress has been slow, but I managed a couple of evenings out there where I played Minecraft IRL where I had the kids mine for gemstones under the trunk. My daughter found quite a lot of quartz which she's excited to have found. It's nice to have cleared up all the logs, branches and pond stuff which has now found a new home int he woods which I might get round to chopping for the path one day, or if not it will make a home for lots of lovely animals. I have mainly filled in lots of cracks around the pond water feature so that when it's running we don't lose water down the cracks. I used putty resin for this which will stay flexible and not crack. And it's quite safe for the fish, frogs and newts now it's cured. I've seen quite a few baby frogs hopping around now. The last picture is of Norman. He scares the life out of me often.

@Adam McCollough Yep... bigger chainsaw for sure. Or take it out in pieces. Glad they put their devices down for a little dad time. AND glad the yards coming together. The pond is starting to look like one. You're doing great hon. I'm proud of you. You're sticking to it. 👍💗

@Adam McCollough that's what friends are for. A little boot to the booty when needed. Or you know... encouragement. 😏
How do you avoid getting penalty fines?
I've just had to pay £115 plus plus 2 months road tax because I forgot it SORN my van (statutory off road notification) when I decided not to use it for a few months because we don't need it again until August. I hate all these taxes in the form of penalties that I get all the time for being bad at paperwork. I always get penalties for forgetting to pay tax, fines for not submitting company returns on time and fines for not renewing my NHS prescription certificate... The list goes on, i'm not including speeding fines. Every time I open these letters it makes me feel like a failure in life. It really gets me down and makes me feel sad. I don't know how normal people keep track of it all. (In fact, I've just remembered we should have paid tax in June that I'd forgotten about! 😫) So, my idea is what if someone would take car if all your vehicle admin. tax, insurance and MOTs, ensuring that all your vehicles were kept legal, maintained and roadworthy.. Do I need a PA or VA? Better systems or is there some amazing hack or software that I'm missing in my life? I'd love to know how you do it without the stress of getting penalised as this is probably one of my biggest pain points right now ..!

@Adam McCollough you need a universal reminder app. Not just for car stuff but for your kids school stuff, and every other important thing you've got going on in your personal life. I think you do ok in the business world though.🤔 Part of the problem is changing YOUR mindset and habits. But I know you'll find a good fit for what you need. There are lots of smart folks in here that can point you the right way.
