I've been asked more than once what I use to record my videos and share my screen. I know a lot of people use Loom, but I prefer to use free tools as much as possible. So what I use instead is OBS studio. You can use it on Windows or Mac and it's free. I am not an expert on it so I found a video that can help you set it up. @AnneMarie Kovach if you were able to get it set up, tell us if this video is beginner friendly.
